My only qualm is that it didn't come with the HDMI cord it was supposed to, but it was an open box item so I can only assume whoever purchased it first kept it. I had a spare though. Great for movie night in the bedroom.

Good Blu-ray player

So far, so good, but I have not owned it very long, so it is still relatively new. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time. The wi-fi streaming capability does not interest me since I am using Amazon Fire TV for this purpose. However, I tried it out and it does work fine.

However, it is a little sluggish in general especially with apps (selection is very limited) and the USB port (for pics/video files) compared to the Sony 4k upscaling player, which is a disappointment. I would recommend spending the extra on the Sony upscaling 4K if you expect to use apps or the USB port.

Great Dvd Player!

I put in "Wonderland" with Val Kilmer. It was easy to hook up and has very good connections with the TV. I can tell I made a great purchase and it will be well worth it. Best Buy helped me out once more! Thanks Guys...

Fine, basic Blu-Ray player.

It is noticeably quieter than our old Sony, however, it does take a significant time to load the DVD in order to play. I don’t really use the streaming capabilities as we have an Apple TV, so I can’t attest to this feature. Certainly worth the price.

Picture is sharp, vibrant, and with good sound. Playing CDs is also good. However, you should have a good soubdbar connected to the TV if you wany great sound from your CDs. I do. Playback with just the TV speakeker is adequate at best. Streaming would never be my choice with this player. Its not really good for that.

Perfectly fine for the price

I picked this up for watching anime and it did great. I have since upgraded to a Panasonic DP-UB820, but this did it's job for the time I used it just fine.
