This blu-ray player works great. It plays blu-ray disks as well as DVDs. Hooked up to the Wi-Fi we have more options than our smart TV (also Sony). This player integrates well with our TV. Easy to setup and run.

Excellent Blu-Ray DVD player and can't rave enough about it. I'm not up for getting into 4K HD and this was fine enough. It connects to all the essential apps, stays connected to WiFi and works great with my TV.

I have a Sony Blu Ray DVD player with an entertainment system that went out on me the week before I bought this. Now this Blu Ray player is not only perfect, but it is also compatible with my entertainment system. Saved me hundreds of dollars. I would definitely buy this one again in the future.

I purchased this Sony streaming Blu-ray player to replace my previous Sony Blu-ray player. My previous Sony (non streaming) which I purchased I around 2015 lasted about 7 years with no issues so I'm pretty confident that this will be an excellent Blu-ray player. Very easy to set up. Would recommend

Great Product for the money. I only use a Blu Ray Player occasionally. This is the perfect player for that use.

Blu-ray player performs well. Only "negative" - pretty much need to use the remote for ease of use. Power will shut off automatically if not used for a while.

Excellent machine and very easy to set up. I have it on a shelf to the left of the big wall with tv and fireplace. I unplug cable from dvd, fold it up and tie it with a twist tie where it is not seen. Very easy to plug back in when ready to watch a dvd. I highly recommend this Sony player.

I use the player for DVD and Blu-Ray playback only, so I can't speak to the streaming options. The player was easy enough to set up on my wifi and has played the DVDs and Blu-Ray discs I have tried on it. There are two reasons that I don't give this player 5 stars. When you start the player, it goes to a home screen. There is a spot there for a disc that you have in the player. When you get to this screen, if you have a disc already in the player, it will take around 10 seconds to recognize if a disc is present. During this 10 seconds, the home screen displays as if you have no disc in the drive and there is no indication that it is working on anything, unless you try to select the "no disc" icon, at which point it will ask you to wait. It would be nice if this time was not so long, or at least the home screen should give you a loading indicator instead of saying "no disc". Additionally, if you stop watching a disc partway through, the player will remember where you are, but only if you do not change discs. If you are partway through watching one disc and put in another disc, the player forgets where you were on the first disc. Other players around this price advertise that they remember the position on six discs, which seems like pretty standard functionality that has been in DVD players for decades.
