Excellent additional device

Didn't have time to set it up until 8:30 this evening. Plugged it in out of the box and it began working immediately. What can I say, the sound is excellent. If it doesn't work for you it clould be your equipment. My AVR is 7 years old and everything functions exactly as it should.

Now we have the best of both by watching our own movies on the dvd player too. Small, compact.

Great DVD player with extra features!

Although it cost me about $80, it is a DVD player but it also turns a regular TV into a smart TV so you can watch YouTube and great music channels and many other channels for free that a regular TV has no access to. Well worth the money!!

It plays blu-ray disks as well as DVDs. Hooked up to the Wi-Fi we have more options than our smart TV (also Sony). This player integrates well with our TV. Easy to setup and run.

You may see some negative reviews, but some of them are due to the buyer not fully understanding how to connect A/V equipment, how to operate the player, or expecting it to do what it can't. This player has a very simple connection process, it plays very well, and is a good product.
