This Blu-ray player I have found to work better than I'm more expensive name brand and the fact that it is Wi-Fi without having to buy a special Wi-Fi connector for it is by far worth it love it

This is a nice Blu-ray, easy to work. Does what we needed.

Great product, easu used, great price, great brand

I use the player for DVD and Blu-Ray playback only, so I can't speak to the streaming options. The player was easy enough to set up on my wifi and has played the DVDs and Blu-Ray discs I have tried on it. There are two reasons that I don't give this player 5 stars. When you start the player, it goes to a home screen. There is a spot there for a disc that you have in the player. When you get to this screen, if you have a disc already in the player, it will take around 10 seconds to recognize if a disc is present. During this 10 seconds, the home screen displays as if you have no disc in the drive and there is no indication that it is working on anything, unless you try to select the "no disc" icon, at which point it will ask you to wait. It would be nice if this time was not so long, or at least the home screen should give you a loading indicator instead of saying "no disc". Additionally, if you stop watching a disc partway through, the player will remember where you are, but only if you do not change discs. If you are partway through watching one disc and put in another disc, the player forgets where you were on the first disc. Other players around this price advertise that they remember the position on six discs, which seems like pretty standard functionality that has been in DVD players for decades.

This blu ray/DVD player does everything I want and is the least-expensive one I’ve purchased over the years. With the included hdmi cable it’s truly ready to use out of the box.

I know DVDs are becoming a bit outdated, but I really appreciate finding a player that is of good quality. I have DVDs that would be expensive to replace as digital copies, so this allows me to still enjoy them!

This is an excellent little blu-ray player. I love how it doesn't take up a lot of space like the older models and it also has a menu with apps which is handy if you don't have a smart TV.

Crystal clear picture works excellent. What more can I say for Blu-ray?

I bought mine yesterday 4/13/24 based on the noted streaming capabilities and how it can access all the apps, as well as having a bluray player all in one. Let me tell you..... It has like maybe 8 apps on it and I went on to Sony and registered the device only to find out in 2019 this model and many other Sony models stopped supporting all other apps, so none could even be added. It was THE ONLY REASON I got this player. I'm now stuck contemplating returning it or keeping it as a very expensive bluray player since that's really all it is. Even had I been able to download Amazon, Hulu, HBO Max on there like I intended to do, just watching YouTube last night on there was ridiculous. It plays for maybe 20-30 mins and then freezes or goes into "loading" and gets stuck there... FOREVER... until you return to the hone screen and start all over. I have good, high speed internet connection too, so I know it's not that. I guess I'll be going to buy a Fire Stick after all. Sigh.

Needed to replace an old dvd player and decided to upgrade to a blu-ray player. Does what it needs to do, basic playback works well and even old dvds look crisper. Not using the streaming functionality so no opinion on that.

Its okay it work especially if you in the budget. Just very slow but it work. Just make sure you have a telephone wire handy to connect the wifi. The wireless sometimes wont connect they getting disconected.

It's simple and easy to install. Clear instructions. The built-in Wi-Fi is a real bonus and automa5tically connected to my home's wWi-Fi network. Works great.

This is a great dvd player and it also has wi fi so you can get different shows. I have not tried a blu-ray disc yet and am looking forward to that.

So far so good, can play all my DVD’s and CD’s. Just wish there was a model that could accept a few CD’s for continued listening..l.but not a big deal.

Even though I haven't fully set it up, I have been using it to watch DVDs. I look forward to using the Streaming function later. Nice little player.
