For $79 this was an incredible bargain. It replaces a Sony DVD player, which I've had for four years. The Blu-ray picture quality is so much better.

Pretty simple plug and play equipment. Plug in the hdmi cable, plug in the power, put the batteries in the remote and good to go

This Blu-ray player works great! Sadly an identical replacement for one my wife ruined trying to play a damaged DVD that the label came off and gummed up the laser. We liked it enough to purchase an identical one that my wife promises not to do that again!

I purchased this DVD player as a Christmas present for my wife. Easy set up, and it works like it should.

I have had this Blu-ray Player since January and I have had no issues. It works as its supposed to when it comes to watching DVDs and Blu-rays. The only downside I had was when it came to connecting the blu ray player to the wifi. It would not connect like it was supposed to. For me its not necessarily a game changer because I needed it more for playing dvds and blu rays.

It's a modest disc player which is what I wanted. Love the remote & ease of usage. I'd give it a 5. Simple directions with a basic player. Don't hesitate. It's a good price.

I enjoy my Blue Ray. I am not a technical person. So it is easy for me to watch a Movie. Great Job.

This Disc player by Sony is easy to use and provides an excellent movie experience. Very happy with it.

Bought 4 of these to use in our children's classrooms at our church. They start up quick and are easy to use for our teachers who may not be technically inclined. And bonus they include HDMI Cables (which I didn't know about)

Very easy to setup and operate. Tied to my TV without a problem. Works fine, and at a great price.

I was disappointed. I didn't realize that buying an 'open box item' meant that not everything might be included. Mine was missing the HDMI cable which the box stated was included. When I called, the person to whom I spoke said to go into the store and they'd give me a cable. They didn't say I need to take the player back. I am 1 1/2 hrs away from the store. When I got there the lady at the door said I have to bring the item back and they'd replace the entire item. Arghhh! Not really convenient.

No bells or whistles but it does what it needs to. Good quality for the money Bought this open box excellent and it looked brand new. Great savings.

Small, compact, works great, easy setup. Thinking about getting another one for the other TV in the bedroom.

Our DVD had done its job for 10 years and we needed a new one and bought this Sony Blu-ray disc player. It's easy to use, was easy to set up, and we enjoy it very much.

Compact along with Sony brand name quality recognition. It streams very well. I wished though that you could ad apps like Disney+, or Prime to your App Library.

Perfect for a van with AC120V and HDMI, Blueray is a much better option for car trips to avoid loss of streaming in weak signal areas
