This BD player has been around for years. It's dependable but DO NOT use as a streaming device. Technology is way old for streaming and slow. Use for BD/DVD's only or CD's.

A great replacement player. I upgraded to Blue Ray and now I have lots of options to choose from

Bought this to pair with an Insignia 43" 1080P TV. We probably won't use it that much as a blu-ray player but are more interested in it's ability to play videos from a flash drive. Works great for that purpose.

I've only used it a couple times so far to watch movies over the holidays. It was easy to set up. I'm basing my rating mostly on Sony's reputation. This product replaces the one I had for many years.

So far so good. Originally purchased 2 previous LG Blu rays which crashed after 2-3 months of use new. Happy so far!

My new Sony - Streaming Blu-ray DVD player plays as I expected and has exhibited no problems. The previous one I owned, the same model, worked reliably for 7 years. I hope this one does the same.

So thankful for this player! Love the eject feature….and no, that’s not standard you have to research.

I really really wish I would’ve read the reviews & dud more research, but I thought what I was searching for wasn’t a hard find. The main complaint is that you CANNOT ADD/DOWNLOAD apps. You can only use the ones already on it… most of them I’ve never even heard of. Another downfall, which doesn’t bother me as much, but worth mentioning… I will select an app to open, it acts like it’s doing something, but then stays on the sane page and you have to select again. But, it deserves some credit… it’s tiny, it’s lightweight, and affordable.

Does exactly what it was purchased to do. I do not like the Wi-Fi and apps included and only wish to play CDs.

It was truly plug and play, worked well right out of the box. I appreciate the small profile and simple interface. Visual quality was excellent as well.

Great deal came with a hdmi cable included. Use this guy daily.

This is my second Sony Blu Ray player and they are simply the best player made. My first one lasted almost 20 years

After fighting with our previous player for years, this one is a joy to use! No stuck discs, smooth operation - we love it.

Sales person sold us a more expensive DVD player than we needed because our TV had all the same apps we'll be more careful next time or by somewhere else

Compact but powerful. Our old one was much bigger and took up so much space. Works great!

The Sony BLUE RAY Disc Player is state of art and easy to install and use. It was worth the money.

Great great piece of tech. Way better than my old one. However, the original purchased player did not work. Best Buy refunded it, no prob!
