I bought this because my wife could not find our charger at home. After 30 minutes I was able to find the missing charger. Not needed after all.

Only gave it 3 stars because it was the wrong items for the battery I had. I was not clearly labeled on the description. Otherwise I'm sure this item works fine.

I had to buy, the camera that was purchased did not have one with.

I charged my camcorder to a full charge, and it only lasted 45 minutes, and then I had to charge it again. It's not practical to charge it every 45 minutes.

it is ok, very hard to stay on the plug due the unit is not balance.

Super slow expensive charger. If charging port on the camcorder wasn’t broken. Wouldn’t have waste money on this.

When I am out using my Handycam I always carry a spare battery. But when I need to use the spare it's nice to be able to charge the used battery right away just in case while still using the camera. I was disappointed that a separate charger was not included with the Handycam but it was not a deal breaker. This charger is compact and the plug folds into the unit for carrying in the camera bag, the charge stops when the battery is full and the indicator light goes out so you know when it is ready.

Best Buy gave me the wrong charger fir the camera.

I purchased this charger after getting the camera and finding out that the only way to charge the battery is with the provided cables. The charging cables are so big that it would not fit in the case that is recommended for the camera. Considering that I do a lot of traveling this was not ideal. So I looked up the charger. Although expensive, it is great. The battery was fully charged in no time. It's small and fits in the case. A great addition to my camera.

Fast charge, reliable, durable, auto multi input voltage (110 - 220) and much, much smaller than the charger that comes with the comes with the camcorder. A must for camcorder users.

Misplaced the charger/ac adapter that came with my camcorder, so got this instead. It charges the battery really quickly and is small enough to plug in anywhere without cords to trip over. Love it!

I had one of the aftermarket chargers because I wanted to save a few bucks, but on the 3rd charge up it semi-melted the battery, so not only am I out the 34.95 for the aftermarket charger I am out an additional 79.99 for new camera battery. LOVE the Sony charger now, it is fast, gives a full charge, and doesn't damage my batteries.

If you buy a Sony Camcorder, you need the charger to go with it. It charges batteries fast, and its very easy to slip into the bag and take with you.

This is a great Battery Charger and is a lot easier to use then plugging in the cord to your camera and leave it sitting around. (especially if you have roaming children) I love this new charger..I just dont like the price.

This product is perfect for travel. Bought it a couple months ago to travel to San Francisco and Yosemite and this charger was perfect. Its the perfect size for any camera bags and its size also is not bulky in that you can easily plug it in anywhere. Definitely worth the price.
