No HBO Max

I can watch HBO Max on my iphone but I cannot stream it via the Sony DVD player because the streaming service is not listed as a menu choice. Should be able to add additional streaming services for this price.

Compact size makes it ideal

Also my television wasn’t recognizing the hdmi connection between tv and blue ray player.

Junk

It sat on a shelf under my tv, was not bumped or banged-just stopped working for no reason. Piece of junk. I have paid for a service agreement, and Best Buy wanted to repair, not return item.

Freezes. Get the Panasonic DP-UB420-K instead.

I returned this for the Panasonic DP-UB420-K which doesn't freeze, and has more vivid colors and is proportionately reconfigured for your tv/projector's abilities, whereas the SONY colors are pale pastel.
