This definitely matches the needs of my LG OLED, it gives a better sound quality to my surround sound. It was very easy to set up and picture quality was great.

Overall not as good as Panasonic brand for the price. Some people experiencing disc skipping per previous reviews. I haven’t had it long enough to notice this. For the same price I would get the Panasonic if it is on sale.

I have had issues with this player since the day I bought it. It will frequently freeze about 2 hours into most of the 4K discs I have watched and I have to eject the disc, wait a few minutes, and put it back in to resume my movie. And even then, there is no guarantee that it will work. I tried to watch Blade Runner 2049 recently and towards the climax of the movie, the disc froze and I eventually had to give up and watch the digital version to finish. I've tried contacting Sony about this more times than I can remember and even after getting a replacement unit, I still have this issue. Sony customer support has been useless in finding a solution to this issue. If you're thinking about buying this unit, don't. Pay a little bit extra for a better player and save yourself the frustration that I've gone through.

It started freezing and become unresponsive during the second 4K movie. The only way I could get it to respond was unplug the unit. I tried a third movie and it froze within 30 minutes. I returned it.

Not too bad haven’t had a chance to run any 4K’s through it yet.

Should have stayed with my original blu-ray player. Hooked it up to Sony tv. Guess what, it has the same frequency as the original. I wanted to have 2 DVD players hooked up to the tv but I guess not. I should just return the 4K one and keep the old one. It works great.

This Sony dvd player is bad. It keeps dropping out movie and sound snd then comes back on while playing any dvd.

This is a good product that works well and I had no issues with it. I recommend it to anyone that is looking to have an feature rich UBR player.

Best 4k blu ray player for the money you can get. I had a bad experience with LG not reading discs after 2 years. Hope this one will last longer.

Great addition to my theatre. Seamless operation and interface to 65" Sony OLED TV. With upconverting even old DVDs look great on my 4K screen.

I cant believe it doesnt have bluetooth! Spent a decent amount of time and noticed it DOES NOT have bluetooth…. Build quality is good tho, and UI is smooth.

It’s fine I guess but don’t buy it if you do a lot of importing. I was excited to get a brand name region free player, but it can’t convert 50hz or pal so I can’t play any UK import films even the multi region ones. Very disappointed for $260

Good performance but not out of this world. Could be better.
