The one I received skipped on the first disc I tired which is apparently a wide known issue. Maybe you will be fine, but it’s not worth the risk.

The price is good but it is a little slow and after you "unpause" a movie it takes forever to play, so I end up ejecting the disc and insert it again to resume it faster.

It says in the title and on the box that it is included. It is the M model. This was an open box product that was supposed to be in excellent condition. According to Best Buy it doesn’t matter if parts are missing because the excellent condition only means the actual product. They said I could bring it in to return it but it’s a 45 minute drive each way or i could send it back and after they get it they will send another. I truly do not understand why they can’t send me the cable. Obviously they do not care about customer care. This is not the first time buying an open box item was a huge mistake. I have definitely learned my lesson there. I feel better buying on eBay! I do not recommend ever buying open box from Best Buy!! I feel bad leaving this review because it is not the fault of Sony but I wanted people to know.

Freezing issues

Constantly freezes and skips

It takes 3 resets and 10 tries to play any disc without it freezing instantly. I'd avoid this player. I've done every troubleshooting step recommend and no change

No amount of restarts or factory resets could get it to play through any movie entirely. Ruined more than a few movie nights with the family. Spend your money on another product.
