Dissapointed. I have a sony bravia core A80J, this 4k player wasn't giving the image picture I was hoping to get. Bravia core streaming movie has better picture and sound. For the record, I was using a high quality HDMI cable

Worked fine for a couple months, but now it has problems playing any 4k disk. The image gets distorted and it starts buffering/skipping at the best parts of the movie for some reason.

AFTER DVD PLAYER WAS INSTALLED, I COULD NOT USE THIS UNIT. LOOKS LIKE THERE MAY BE SOMETHING MISSING HERE. I TRIED TO USE THIS UNIT BUT I WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL.

Man this player has been skipping so much on me, I returned a few movies thinking they were the issue but the player has been the issue. I tried to use a duster to blow off any possible Dust inside but it’s not Fixing the issue

I bought two of these sound bars. They both work OK, but it’s just a sound bar. Please see my other review titled “it’s just a sound bar.”

Was good, had it for 3 months and now when i turn it on the screen just goes black. Hate this dumb product

Beware the open box! Our box was missing cords, Remote, cables. Since box did not show any missing items Store allowed us to return product - we purchased a new unit of same “open box product

Terrible most blu rays will freeze after they start playing and then the unit shuts off. This is completely unacceptable and most of the time unit doesn’t even recognize that the source is HDR compatible.

I'm a little confused by the operation of this player, but a little surfing I got what I needed. The installer took away the boxes and the owners manual, I need that with the warrantee etc.

Still going strong and plays discs just fine but oddly it sometimes randomly turns on and switches the TV. The controls on top are annoying.

Had less than a month when began freezing on 4k discs. Went through all the fixes on the internet and Sony support. Nothing work! Then it had no audio output. Returned to Sony. Awaiting replacement. Hopefully new one will not have same issues…

Absolutely the worst Blu Ray player produced by Sony. Constantly "freezes" at random times during movie playback. Sometimes once or sometimes constantly. Seems to freeze more the longer I have owned it and Best Buy will not accept it as return period has expired. Avoid this model!

Had to return this DVD player as the associate told we it was Regin free player and it is not. I did purchase this same player from another company that made it region free and I love the player.

It does not play any type of dvds that I was told it would.i have new dvds that will not play on it

I regret buying this player, as it freezes with every 4K disc I attempt to watch. I hope Sony sees this review. I can't return it now since it's way past the return period too.

Nice box. Bestbuy cannot fix bluray playback issue. If don't want descriptive playback on everything buy something else.

Like other reviewers have stated, the item came delivered in a big box with no padding. Then, despite being in “excellent” condition, it did not come with a power cord. Online customer service said to take it to my closest store for an exchange. At the store, they would only exchange it for a new one, and they were going to charge me the difference in price. They also did not have any power cables in stock. I just had to return it.

Returned. Will not play 4K disks. Got the next upgrade for another $150.

Had to return it. Player stopped playing on two new blu ray movies.
