Great player, easy to set up, a must for 4K, even regular dvd 's look pretty good. Have 2 of these units, no issues at all

This is a great little player for not much money. It's slim and easy to use.

Needed a dvd player for all the old dvds I own. Needed something small, and this fit the bill. It also provides me streaming, while I don’t need it, it’s a great option.

This Sony 4K DVD player is excellent. Picture quality (upgraded to 4K) is perfect. Unbelievable at this pricepoint.

This was an upgrade purchase. Went from ultra high def to ultra high def with high def audio. Very noticeable improvement in sound quality. Setup was quick and easy and very intuitive. Still can’t beat picture quality from a player.

Reasonable priced 4K Bluray player. Great quality video. No analog audio outs, so you have to either put up with HDMI audio or connect your own DAC. The built-in apps aren't great and I believe most people will just use this for a disk player.

I've always been a fan of the Sony products and their superior electronics and this player matches my expectations. Easy plug and play with any existing 4K system and small enough to fit in any compartment for electronics storage.

Very easy to use, easy set up, the picture quality is awesome. The sound is amazing as well, even when playing music.

Very good Blu-ray player. Excellent picture quality.

It does the job and plays 4K discs, as well as other Blu-rays and DVDs. The only issue we have found is that it doesn’t like playing back standard definition content. To clarify, it will play it, but the screen goes black and the audio cuts out randomly when doing so. We know the issue is with the player, because our old player (also a Sony) handled the same discs with no issues. Unsure if it’s just our player or this particular model in general. Firmware and software are up to date but the issue persists.

What a great player this is. I watched one of my old DVD's this past weekend and the picture was so crisp and perfect. The colors looks fantastic too! I am so happy with this purchase. Easy set up and easy to use.

Easy to operate, good quality. Sony is a good quality with a name that is recognizable and well known. I have other Sony devices and I stand by the name and quality.

Easy to set up. Provides great clarity of picture and sound. Replaced a DVD player that did not play Blu-ray discs. We are happy with the difference in quality and price was great on Cyber Monday/Black Friday deal.

I stream movies constantly - even from Apple. I never thought much of the HEVC/h.265 compression until I finally bit the bullet and bought a 4k bluray player. Holy-freaking-cow, the depths of the colors is so much richer! I also like the idea of actually owning my media rather than hoping the services I buy things through will still have it there when I want to watch it. I am sick and tired of all of this rent seeking behavior from corporations.

This model is great; way better than the Panasonic and certainly better than the lesser known brands, I would know because I foolishly bought the 'other brand' first and ended up returning that one, and going with this one, anyway. Rule of thumb: "Buy it cheap, you'll buy it twice." Yes, it makes a difference. It works and is exactly as they tout it to be; read ALL the descriptions before you buy. One complaint: I don't understand why there are not more apps available (to stream content) but I knew that going in, so it's fine. We get Netflix, Hulu and YouTube, that's it. The Smart TV we are about to purchase is going to take care of the rest of it. I recommend this product for sure.

I’ve used this unit for over a month and am very pleased with it, having tried CD’s, DVD’s, and both standard and 4K blu-ray disks. I was very pleased with the ease of setting up the remote to control my LG 4K TV. I initially was having trouble getting the unit to respond but got it resolved quickly using the troubleshooting section of the user manual involving connecting the power adapter to the unit in the correct order. I have not as of yet tried the many other features of the unit but for what I purchased it for which is playing all sorts of disks it is all I could hope for. One comment about the remote: although it is small it fits easily in one’s hand and controls the TV and unit appropriately. Overall I couldn’t be more pleased.

Out of the box, easy to set up, great picture and I would recommend this Bluray player to anybody.

Great product to have. I had been eyeing a 4K player for quiet some time and finally took the dive to purchase one. So far, I am very impressed at the quality of this device and I enjoy that it is very easy to use.

I love this DVD player. It has a lot on It like Netflix. And things like that, which is awesome, 4K stuff. Definitely worth the price.
