What a great 4k player! This machine has many great features which combined with Black Friday price of a $100 less than regular price, makes it a superb deal. Makes every disk look great on my television that isn't 4k. Hard to believe that the picture quality can get any better. Sony quality is prevalent in this device.

Good bang for the buck. Plays Dolby Vision titles along with Dolby Atmos sound and yet, cheaper than the other competitors.

The DVD player was easy to set up and easy to use. We like that it does not take up a lot of room.

I love this. The picture and sound are phenomenal. It's one quirk is it's a little slow in between hitting the button and the action taken, but just by an extra second or two. I mention this only because it's helpful to know so you don't keep hitting the button thinking it didn't take. Overall it's excellent.

A quality 4K Player as expected from Sony. Easy to install, set up and use.

Delighted with this DVD player. The remote includes a button for opening and closing the disc drawer. The picture is full screen as opposed to our previous player which had a large black picture frame around each movie we played.

This blu-ray player works very nicely for playing 4K blu-ray discs, as well as other discs. However, the streaming apps are subpar. There are only a few of them, and Netflix, for example, won't stream Dolby Atmos sound. Also, it still requires setting Dolby Vision manually, compared with many other players that automatically switch to Dolby Vision based on the input. If streaming apps aren't important and you don't mind doing Dolby Vision manually, this is a good player to have.

Got this as a gift for my friend whose previous player broke. A highly underrated aspect of the player is its ability to run apps natively. For those with older smart/no apps on their tvs who don't own a console, this can be a huge blessing. For instance, my friend's Hulu was super slow through his older tv, despite having great internet, and this player has remedied that issue. As typically the case, hard to go wrong with Sony electronics when the price is reasonable.

What you are buying UHD player for. Not only no problems, but actually improved my large-set TV experience. I am able to use the player to stream some apps that the LG will not load, and of course the disc-source picture is really (really!) great. A suitable HDMI cord is included, even though I'm not sure the box says so.

They make cheaper Sony DVD players ,but this one plays all myBluRay and 4K and regular DVD in a very enhanced quality.

So far it is doing what I needed it too. I'm not sure what all it does.

It is great and a good price. I got tired and annoyed at all the streaming services starting to charge more for movies and have advertisements during what used to be FREE programming. I have hundreds of DVD and BluRay movies so I figuratively dusted them off and am now enjoying movies again,

Compact size. Excellent performance. I’m always a fan of the Sony remote and UI. And it came with the appropriate hdmi cable. That is always a welcome inclusion.
