We want to help you quickly resolve this so you can get back to enjoying your content. Please try the following sequence of troubleshooting steps, testing the player after each one:
1. Power Cycle the Player:
First, unplug the player from the wall outlet for approximately two minutes, and then plug it back in. This often clears any minor system errors.
2. Check for the Latest Software:
Ensure your player is running the most current software version, as updates often contain critical bug fixes that can resolve playback issues.
Go to Setup > Software update > Update via Internet.
3. Reset to Factory Settings:
If the issue persists, a complete system reset can restore optimal performance settings.
Go to Setup > Resetting > Reset to Factory Default Settings > All settings > Start.
Once the reset is complete, press OK. Then turn the player off for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
