    Just a straight forward DVD player for a great 4k experience. There is no WiFi with this player. If you need WiFi then you might want to get a gaming console.

    I did like the initial feel and appearance of this Sony player, which I purchased to replace an older Sony Blu-ray device. But, and this is probably not an issue with all of these players, I could not get the player to connect to my Wi-Fi system. After many attempts, I found that the network setting was hard set to wired only. There was no way I could change this, even trying to do a firmware update. My suspicion is that this open box unit was programmed to be a demo unit in the store. So, back it went and I moved on to another brand player.
