It's designed to deliver clear sound, even with its compact size, and its waterproof and dustproof features make it perfect for outdoor adventures.
Regarding the volume, sometimes the audio source itself can affect the overall loudness. We recommend checking the volume on the device connected to your speaker, as well as the speaker's volume control. You might also find that placing the speaker on a hard, flat surface can help reflect the sound and make it seem a bit louder.

1- The ULT Button: For a more powerful and immersive sound, try pressing the ULT button on the unit. This specifically enhances the bass levels and creates a much deeper sound profile that brings music to life.
2- Sony | Sound Connect App: We highly encourage downloading the Sony | Sound Connect app. Through the app, you can manually adjust the Equalizer (EQ) settings to find the specific balance that fits your personal taste and environment.

When ULT mode is turned on the treble and mid volume is inconsistent depending on intensity of the bass.

The bass performance when ULT mode is off and the inconsistency in treble and mid volume when ULT mode is on are understandably frustrating. To improve the sound quality, we strongly recommend adjusting the audio settings using the Music Center app. This can help balance the sound even when ULT mode is off.
