All of the high, mid, and low tones sound amazing. The bass using the "ULT" button makes my music sound even better. It's a solid choice for outdoor adventures, casual hangouts, and beach days. It’s durable, lightweight, and designed to withstand the elements. 10/10

Best bang for the $

This Sony model by far had the best overall sound vs anything else anywhere near this price point and size. To my listening ear, I would have needed to spend hundreds of dollars more before and a much larger speaker before I could really notice an upgrade in sound output. Because I do not use a wireless speaker often, I rate this speaker a "best buy" accordingly. More technical info you will have to get from other reviews.

The bass also hits hard even in such a small format. I take it with me on my courier route and it lasts all day. I haven’t been able to party connect with my Sony zg300 which when looking online it said it should but that hasn’t been a problem for me.

Unfortunately, the ULT FIELD 1 does not support the Party Connect function. The SRS-XG300 cannot be used with the ULT FIELD 1 via the Party Connect function.
The ULT FIELD 1 supports Stereo Pair function and only works by connecting 2 same model (ULT FIELD 1/ULT10) Bluetooth speakers via BLUETOOTH connection so you can enjoy more powerful sound. On the other hand, the SRS-XG300 supports Party Connection function and works with compatible devices that supports the same wireless function such as SRS-XB43, XB33, XB23, XP700, XP500, XG500, XG300, XE300, XE200, LSPX-S3, XV800, XV900, XV500, ULT70, and ULT1000. Works in small spaces and as a replacement for a bose speaker didn't play loud enough when used in a large gym aeribic fitness area. I upgraded to the ult field 5 which solved all probkems but is significanly heavier so noticable when carrying around to jobs 5-6 days a week. Both are great!
