Sony has been consistently providing bluetooth speaker options that surpass my expectations. For a speaker at this pricepoint if you are looking for high quality over pure dbs then i absoltely reccomend this item. It still produces excellent volume sufficient for overcoming both ambient environmental noise as well as group conversations or active populated rooms. Easily heard in other rooms of a home or in a crowded room.

The bigger version has more bass and light color options but also twice the size as the 3. The 3 is really light weight and portable and comes with a carry strap.

Great Decision to purchase the Sony ULT speaker

I'm not disappointed at all and never thought I would use it as much as I do. Take it with me outside when working or doing projects in the house. Excellent Battery life even on the 90% setting that helps save the batteries lifespan. Nice size with great sound.

Expensive but worth it

Battery performance is right on the mark. Overall a great mid size speaker and the strap really makes it easy to carry around and even hand on stuff.

Works in small spaces and as a replacement for a bose speaker didn't play loud enough when used in a large gym aeribic fitness area. I upgraded to the ult field 5 which solved all probkems but is significanly heavier so noticable when carrying around to jobs 5-6 days a week. Both are great!

Battery Life is pretty solid, Waterproofing is nice to have when you go to the beach or the pool.

The bass is super punchy, especially with the eq settings in the app, and the speaker can get so loud that you can hear it through the whole house.
