This speaker gets loud and the quality is super crisp. We mostly use it for when we're playing tennis or relaxing but it's been great regardless of the environment we put it in.

The only issue I have with it is that if you don’t have the instruction manual trying to figure out how to connect. The unit via Bluetooth is very difficult. You would assume you would just press the Bluetooth button and it would try to pair with something but that’s not the case.

We also appreciate your candid feedback regarding the Bluetooth pairing process without the manual. We understand how important intuitive setup is, and we apologize if this caused any initial frustration.
For future reference, a quick press of the Bluetooth button will typically reconnect to the last device, while pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for a few seconds (until the indicator flashes rapidly) will put the speaker into pairing mode to connect to a new device.

Sony first smaller unit

Works in small spaces and as a replacement for a bose speaker didn't play loud enough when used in a large gym aeribic fitness area. I upgraded to the ult field 5 which solved all probkems but is significanly heavier so noticable when carrying around to jobs 5-6 days a week. Both are great!

Great for its size

Now sounds better is debatable. However even for a discounted price of 150 there’s plenty of competition that’s much bigger and louder. The most marketed doesn’t mean the best.
