We are sorry to hear that your Sony ULT FIELD 5 isn't holding a charge as expected. With its high-capacity battery, you should be getting significantly more than an hour of use. To help resolve this, we recommend trying the following steps:

1. Update the Software:
Ensure your speaker is running the latest firmware. You can do this by downloading and using the Sony Sound Connect app on your smartphone. Software updates often include battery management optimizations.

2. Perform a Factory Reset:
Sometimes a quick reset can fix power calibration issues.

While the speaker is turned on, press and hold the (play) button and the ULT button simultaneously.

Keep holding them until the speaker turns off (this usually takes 5 seconds or more).

Once it turns off, turn it back on and try a full charge cycle.

If the battery continues to drain rapidly after the update and reset, it may require a more technical look. Please reach out to our dedicated support team here:
