We're glad you're enjoying the ULT FIELD 5 speaker, and we understand your frustration with the music stopping for notifications. This is typically caused by your phone's settings. To resolve it, check your phone's sound settings to see if you can disable notification sounds from playing over Bluetooth. Also, if a second device is connected, a notification on that device could be the cause.
