The only reason I don’t give it five stars is that the Sony application that is required to work over WiFi is not that stable. I actually have three of these speakers that I gang together to cover a larger area. The battery usually last for an entire party!

I purchased because of the good reviews and specifications but it exceeded all expectations. I anticipated Sony’s sound quality and battery life would be great but the fact that it can continue to play music while charging was a game changer! Most Bluetooth speakers don’t have that feature and don’t offer more than a few hours but this has quadruple the playtime at 12+ hours and also works as a charging bank for other devices. Amazing to have for a long day outdoors. Highly recommended!

A little pricey but definitely a good option for a midrange price point. The sound quality is great, the bass boost is amazing and it is very user friendly. My only complaint is the distance that your phone is able to stay connected. If I walk to the other side of my house is disconnects. Otherwise I’d highly recommend this speaker!

Highly recommend than JBL and UE. If you want loud, clear music with controlable bass this would be it. JBL are great but has uncontrollable bass if you want EDM but not clear sound, UE is great for 360 around but battery isn’t that great and rather go with Sony products especially they always improve throughout the years

This one is much clearer and more bass than all others in this range. Next runner up is Bose which was very close but this one is a clear powerhouse. Clear winner over Boom 3 which is also a good speaker...but side by side the Sony Ult 7 sounds better. Bigger yes. If size is a big issue I'd go bose.

Heavy duty service mechanic and use this while out in the field repairing heavy machinery. Surrounded by loud machines and can still clearly hear the music. The one flaw is having to turn the volume down when needed to talk to someone.
