It’s good but it don’t hit hard enough for me no big bass more just plain sound

Not even close to enough bass. Thumpy but nothing deep. Got the JBL Party Box Ultimate which puts the Sony to shame for bass. Mids are better on Sony but you can EQ the JBL to get close. JBL is a true party and the software is simply better as is the light show. Only downside was needing to buy microphones for the JBL but I got 2 for $99.

The new Sony ULT 10 Tower Party Speaker is an absolute beast of a party speaker. I'm not suprised, Sony makes some of the best audio accessories. The sound quality is big and booming with volume getting loud enough to be heard in most sizable areas and rooms. I used it in my backyard (85' x 65') for a party with friends and everyone could hear the music perfectly. The ULT 10 has two preset sound EQ options, ULT 1 and ULT 2, which are quick and easy ways to adjust the audio quality for those that want deeper bass or clearer voice, but you can also adjust your EQ to tailor you music experience. It has Sony's 360° Audio Sound Field Optimization technology so you'll get a room filled surround sound no matter the layout. The ULT 10 is going to be controlled and adjusted through the Sony Music Center App and Fiestable App. The Sony Music Center is for connecting your device and the Fiestable is how you will access most of the special features of the ULT 10. The Fiestable App is so cool, you can customize the lighting, create party playlists that your guests can join and add their favorite songs for everyone to hear, you can DJ your music by adding sound effects and playing with sound altering effects like warp and slow mo and others, and you can even do kareoke that shows a rating by how good close you were to your song choice. The ULT 10 comes with a wireless microphone so you can make announcements, speeches, or sing your heart out. If you are looking for a way to get your friends and family dancing, grooving, singing, and just having a great time at your party or event then this is a must have. I absolutely reccomend The Sony ULT 10.

First thing off, this thing is big and has some weight to it. However, it easily moves around on it wheels and was surprisingly simple to adjust and maneuver. I already have the Sony music app as my main player as I have another Sony bluetooth speaker. So, setting this up was a breeze and the unit was recognized right away. The presets for ULT1 and ULT2 are fantastic and change the sound, which sounds great! I used my custom EQ from my previous set up and WOW, this thing booms! I was not aware of how loud this would be but I will tell you that I can walk to my neighbors house with it only about 50% turned up and I can hear the music and vocals crystal clear. Getting louder than that I can say that my house was completely full of music and it made it difficult to have a conversation. The light show looks even better on this beast! The draw backs here are the seemingly short electrical cord (not really short, but more than 4 ft would make sense) and when using party mode the other Bluetooth speaker (Sony brand) seemed louder than this unit. Not a knock on it at all as the function worked perfectly and the house sounded great in stereo music! No matter what you play, this thing will knock it out of the park with great sound! I highly recommend this if you need loud and large sound! Also, the karaoke setting works great, too! My wife and sister belted out tunes for hours! I have not tried the TV function with the supplied cable as the cable is short, as well. Makes it difficult to hook up. I could see this being a perfect DJ speaker for those wanting a one speaker set up! Nice work here, Sony!

I got this speaker for when I have get togethers at my house this summer. I tested out in my garage that I made into a tiki bar and the sound just blew me away! The bass is so deep sounding that it made the windows rattle and the volume wasn't even all the way up. Even with the base on the sound was quite clear and crisp. I tried my best to get the equalizer to where I need it and it sojnds even better with a little time and excerpt of fiddling around with it. After I got the sound right the next thing I tried was connecting this to my receiver and popped in a Star Wars movie and tested that out for 10 minutes. I was absolutely amazed with the sound this puts out for even watching a movie. The sounds of the lightsabers and blasters and even the explosions made me feel like I was actually in the center of the action. I think I the feature I like best about this speaker is the karaoke. The mic works great and I could even adjust my vocals as well as the sound for a great experience while singing to Led Zepplin. I can definitely see a lot of intoxicated singing going on this speaker from my friends and family. This speaker is also very mobile. No need for lifting to move it to a better location. Just tilt it and use the built in wheels. It's like a piece of luggage. Although, if you do plan on placing it on a elevated surface I recommend that you get help as it is on the heavy side weighing 65+ lbs. In closing I would definitely recommend this speaker if your looking for something that is good for parties or even having a drive in like movie night with your family in the back yard. When it comes to sound this speaker delivers. Truly, an amazing product!

Must have! The ULT Tower is a powerful, party filled extravaganza! From the amazing lights, top to bottom and all around to surround sound, affording you full sound from within any corner of the room, this speaker is amazing. Plug your electric guitar and it almost sounds like a bass guitar with the ULT mode turned on. The guitar can get plugged at the top into a discreetly covered spot with it's own volume button. You can download the app compatible with the speaker or just jump right in and bluetooth your device (which was instantaneously for me) right to the speaker and enjoy party like base music every step of the way. Don't want too much base, click off the ULT button and take it down a notch. You have the option to select different color lights from displaying with the touch of a button at the top of the panel of the speaker. You may also select a multiple colors button and different colors will change throughout the speaker. The speaker is equipped with 2 wheels and the top is designed so you can grab the speaker as a handle which you can tilt and drag to any spot there's an outlet. The mic included is very responsive and has amazing quality as it picks up on even the lowest whisper. There are two separate mic holders on either side of the speaker which pop out and hide when not in use. The speaker comes with one mic but you can easily plug another mic in to have multiple karaoke singers have a duo. The mic has an on /off button and a volume button and stays connected even when the optical connection (wire included) is connected to your tv. You can easily be the MC (Master of Ceremony) and introduce images displayed on a screen while music is playing along with images. An echo feature compliments the use of the speaker for an added fun party experience. The weight of the speaker is heavy but feels sturdy and well built. When turning on the speaker on or when turning on the ULT base boosting features, be aware you can get a loud booming sound if the volume is already on if you're in progress in listening to music, watching a program. You may want to lower the volume before you select the ULT button so you don't startle anyone near the speaker. This versatile speaker is an all-in-one must have for anyone who really enjoys parties, music, movies, tv shows, karaoke, DeeJaying, playing guitar/bass or even for large presentations. Your website says it’s rechargeable and a question was answered by Sony saying battery lasts like 25 hours. So I bought it because of that. But apparently it’s not rechargeable and must be plugged in. Speaker sounds so good I didn’t return but not nearly as convenient to have to have plugged in. I called to complain but we’re no help they just apologized for wrong info and said I could return it. Last I checked it was still on there.
