Versatile, Good Quality, Loaded With Features

Besides the usually excellent Sony build quality, the biggest feature is versatility. At the press of a button, you can switch between low bass, moderate bass, and pounding base, all of which can be adjusted on the phone app. Likewise, at the press of another button, you can switch between ambient noise canceling to focus on the music, or ambient noise boosting, letting you hear things around you more easily. Throw in comfortable ear pads, a headphone jack if you don't have wireless capabilities, and build in microphone for calls, it's really a do everything product. Functionally perfect.

Sony Loyalty-Sony Tone

I also know that with cheap headphones you get unpredictably cheap sounds from them. These are reasonably priced phones with great sound. They fit nicely in my gym bag & deliver the great sound while I’m exercising. Sony comes through again.

An Amazing pair of cans

It did require a little bit of EQ tuning to sound balanced, but there is a good YT video on how to get these to sound like the flagship XM5. Overall, a great pick - very happy with my purchase!

Solid Headphones overall

The bass boosting feature is a bit hit and miss, and can cause distortion at times. The touch pad volume control can be activated more easily than I would prefer; just brushing the side of the left shell can crank your volume instantly! They are also a bit stiff feeling after extended wear time. However, they do cancel ambient nice pretty well. I purchased these on sale, and I would say they work well for the price point. I don't have five hundred to drop on headphones I wear for a few hours every other day. For my needs, they were a solid buy.

Comfort and battery life are also solid, making these headphones great for long listening sessions. However, I’ve noticed some difficulty with Bluetooth pairing at times especially when connecting to Apple devices and occasionally with certain laptops. It’s not a constant issue, but it can be a bit inconvenient when it happens. Overall, these headphones deliver excellent sound, strong noise cancellation, and a premium look. If you can look past the occasional connectivity hiccup, they’re a strong offering from Sony, especially for bass lovers.

They do a really good job of amplifying the base in music and videos that I watch. There are noise cancellation is also excellent! While I am wearing them I sometimes forget where I am and what is going on around me entirely. It really helps me get immersed in my entertainment. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Great alternative to more expensive over ears!

Her review is good sound, good battery life, easy to connect, and comfortable. I put 5 stars but would probably say it’s closer to 4.5/4.7. They are worn for work (10hrs) and after about 6 hours can get a little uncomfortable and the noise cancellation is good for the price but not as good as some of the higher priced alternatives. Comparing the build to the more expensive WH-1000 versions, they are lighter and a little less sturdy/durable. I would say one of the better if not best over ear headphones for its price range.

I've always been cheap and purchased $15 ear buds or whatever was available. Never again. These have great features and good sound. They are comfortable on the ears for hours. The noise cancelling is top tier for its price range and the base boost is dope for my EDM playlist. You can even use the Sony EQ app and adjust the vocals for songs, at first the instruments were over powering the vocals but I changed It. Great purchase for a budgeting buyer

Good headphones

The sound quality is very good bringing out a lot of detail in the sound from my TV, especially with some of the newer high quality broadcasts. I have not used them for purely music listening thus far. They paired easily with my Sony TV. I do not se them for long periods of time so cannot comment on their long term comfort They work fine for my purposes.
