Good headphones

The sound quality is very good bringing out a lot of detail in the sound from my TV, especially with some of the newer high quality broadcasts. I have not used them for purely music listening thus far. They paired easily with my Sony TV. I do not se them for long periods of time so cannot comment on their long term comfort They work fine for my purposes.

Get these if you love bass with quality sound

Out of the box these probably won't sound great but once you turn on the ANC or the Transparency mode and adjust the equalizer a little bit, I spent maybe 10 minutes adjusting, they sound absolutely amazing! Throw the in the extra bass from the ULT1 or ULT2 setting and these punch way above their price

Great headphones

No plane noice, no babies crying! I didn’t even heard the flight attendant ask me for a drink. The only problem with these is the placement of the power button. If you try to reposition your headphones you could knock the power off!

Great sound for price-- but maybe a little fragile

The sound was great for the price and they were incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately maybe a 10 months after owning them and using them maybe a total of 30 times, the swivel hardware broke on one side and they were unwearable. Geek Squad could not repair them and just gave me a full refund for the headphones. I was really disappointed. It's probably best to only store these by hanging them up and not always putting back into their case. Or maybe I just had a faulty pair. I didn't buy another pair at the time and not sure I would again.

Faulty headphones and even worse customer support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY!!! I really wish I had read the low-star reviews of this headphones before purchasing. I purchased the UltWear headphones after my previous pair of Sony WH-XB910N headphones stopped working after around a year and a half of use. I had the Best Buy warranty purchased for the WH-XB910N headphones and assumed it would be a simple process to get my new pair. How wrong I was. Sony (very conveniently I might add) discontinued the WH-XB910N headphones, so getting a replacement pair was not an option. Instead, I had to pay the difference out of pocket between the original price of the WH-XB910Ns and the UltWear headphones. I figured the increase in price I had to pay would be worth it as I would be receiving higher quality headphones that would last longer than their previous generation (How wrong I was again). Almost every negative review for the ULTWear headphones on this page mentions the same flaw, the swivel hinge on the ear cups being faulty. Similar to other reviews, the headphones were well taken care of and have barely seen usage since their purchase, however the swivel hinge snapped all the same (Look at my photo and compare it to the others, all the headphones have snapped in the exact same place). This has been mentioned by countless other reviewers, yet Sony has clearly decided to avoid the issue in lieu of selling more defective products. After spending hours on the phone with both Best Buy customer support and Sony support, they both assured me that neither were culpable in covering the product and the costs of repair would fall on me. Utterly disappointing interactions with both companies who could have done even the slightest act to reestablish good faith. Its a shame too because I really recommended these headphones and the previous pair to literally everyone I know. I'll have no problem sharing the news now that Sony headphones and their products in general are not even worth the box they are packaged in. Stick to another retailer, buy Bose and avoid the mess of ever dealing with either of these businesses.

Like most people, I have Air Pods and I talked myself of the purchase. I finally purchased them. I have zero regrets. My Air Pods I have to keep track of, when they get sweaty in the gym, one usually stops working. These are great for my workout and just relaxing. I have only charged them once since purchasing them. Craziness!

After two separate flights, 1 being 6 hours the other being 9 hours. I still had 90% battery life.

Sony continues to improve

Sound quality is also excellent for a good all purpose headphone set with the bass function being able to deliver extra punch without any harshness in the sound.
