I really like them.

They feel good on my ears. Not a lot of headphones do this because my ears are stretched and I have my industrial done. I like that I can change the bass. I listen to audio books and music, so changing the bass when I want to without having to go through an app, is great. My only issue is that these are not completely noise canceling. They are good, but when I am listening to my music or audio book, I am in an auditorium filled with little kids yelling and screaming doing gymnastics, and I bought these because their noise canceling. They do a good job, but not enough. I can still hear the kids yelling or the music the auditorium is playing in the background. Maybe these would be better in a place that wasn't so loud. But for the price, I think these are great.

It’s awesome that the quick bass adjustment without an app is working out for you. We totally get your feedback about the noise canceling in a super noisy spot like an auditorium full of kids. To make the most of the noise canceling function, we recommend to make sure that headphones are worn properly and also turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it. The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. But they do feel like really cheap plastic, and the active noise cancelling goes in and out randomly with use. Battery life is also surprisingly long lasting too.

1- Turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, this feature detects the wearer's actions and will adjust the noise canceling function automatically, turn it off to have a stable noise canceling effect
2- Check the setting of [Ambient Sound Control]. If it is set to [Ambient Sound], the effect of noise canceling is reduced. Set it to the noise canceling mode. You can do this on the Sony Sound Connect App
3- Initializing the headset to restore factory settings, you can follow the instructions in the link below: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/2981/v1/en/contents/TP1001300236.html

Awesome headphones that bump!

The ANC works really well. Bluetooth connection is easy. The battery life is fantastic. The spatial 3D is super cool and fun to use when you find the right music source. I would buy them again and they would make a great gift. Save some money over the XM5s and give these a try!

Great sound for price but anc is just enough

The one thing worth noting though is the sound canceling is just ok for day to day use not meant to be used at a warehouse or any extremely loud environment. For some scale the wh-1000xm4 is a 9/10 and these are 3/10 in noise canceling when being used in a warehouse during peak operations

While the WH-ULT900N provides solid everyday noise reduction, especially at its price point, its performance in highly intense noise environments will be less comprehensive than the WH-1000XM4. Perfect College Headphones

Having an almost blank canvas to stick stickers, ribbons, etc. added bonus. But functionally, down to the ease of access for fixing the equalizers, the noise cancelling is super good to! Could barely hear my roomate right next to me, or even someone trying to get my attention down a sidewalk. Good and recommend it to middle ground price and excellent usage returns!

Deep clean base

They are comfortable and they fold up which makes them hard to break. I lost my old pair and reviewed other headphones including Sony m4/m6 - these were still my first pick! It sounds like having two subwoofers being next to your ears, depending on the person good or bad. For me good.
