Great for daily usage

Great sound but powers down

They are a true meaning of the description that the manufacturer stated. No noise was blocked and I was able to sleep like a baby. I will strongly recommend to all my friends and family

Old is better

New is not always better. Just re-release the xb900n sony. I bought the ult and xm4 on sale at the same time, the xm4 are much better if you cant find the xb900n’s. And the xm4 has similar bass but sound way better, it’s clear in all areas and less muddy with vocals. Listening to the new linkin park album with new lead singer her voice is dull and doesn’t even sound like her on the ult, Xm4 her voice is spot on and clear. No amount of eq will fix it i tried.

We're glad that you like the XB900N and XM4 headphones. It's unfortunate that you are not satisfied with the ULT WEAR headphones. Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app).
Sound quality may vary depending on the source content. Make sure to set the sound quality mode to "Priority on sound quality" using the Sony app.
To adjust the bass quality depending on your needs, press the ULT button on the headphones. Each time the ULT button is pressed, the function changes to ULT1, ULT2, and OFF in this order. You will hear a notification sound each time the setting is changed:
ULT1: This setting emphasizes the deep bass range over other sounds.
ULT2: This setting emphasizes powerful sound more than ULT1.
OFF: Turns off the ULT button setting.
Hint: You can also use the “Sony Sound Connect” app to switch the ULT button setting to ULT1/ULT2/OFF.
