I tried these for comparison to the bass. They have great ANC and pretty decent sound, but the bass has no comparison to the Skullcady's. Returned them.

It's unfortunate that you were not satisfied with the bass quality. For optimum performance, it is recommended to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). These headphones also come with an ULT function to boost the bass quality depending on your needs. Additionally, you can use the equalizer function of the Sony app to fine-tune the sound quality to your needs.

Posted .Hi LymarisC, We’re glad to hear you’re loving the noise cancellation and sound quality! We're sorry to hear the battery life isn’t meeting your expectations, though. The ULT WEAR is designed to offer up to 30 hours of playback with noise cancellation off, or around 20 hours with it's on, but if you’re noticing much less than that, it might be worth checking a few things. If you're using features like noise cancellation, Equalizer, ULT bass boost constantly, etc. those can impact battery duration. Usage hours may be different depending on the conditions of use. If you feel the available operating time or the battery life is too short, even when fully charged, resetting and initializing the headset may help resolve the problem. It gives you the option of having noise cancellation or have all the background noise you would want. The only thing I wish is if they had different colors.

It will go full noise canceling when there is a loud sudden sound around you. Sound quality is amazing. Definitely recommend this device
