    These headphones are amazing for the price point. They are very comfortable around the ears. The sound quality and noise cancelling are great.     First time buying headphones like this and I am very surprised with not only the build quality but also the sound it has, the bass in these are pretty will balanced with the rest of the audio. The audio pass through mode feels a bit lacking but maybe it's just a function that I'm still getting used to. The battery stays charged for a while even though that isn't my main way of using the headphones, I use the aux option most of the time, but still a massive bonus when I do use them wireless.

    Starting by saying I'm not an audiophile or anything but the sound on these is great. I love that you can manually adjust the bass, treble, etc., but also that there are a bunch of presets for these for different listening experiences if you're not as experienced with this type of thing (like me). The noise cancelling is fine. It blocks out things like sounds from cars or buses really well but not super great for things like people talking but I guess I would need ear buds or much higher quality headphones for that. The ambient sound option is pretty great at amplifying outside noise if you're in a situation where you need to be able to hear your surroundings. It's also super convenient to have a button on the side to switch between noise cancelling and ambient noise. Overall they do what I need and are pretty comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

    Very Responsive and clear sound! Love the base that it provides as well as the touch motion on the side of the right headphone. It lasts for around 2 days on a full charge! Which works great for traveling, and I love the case it comes with, very sleek and comfortable to fit in my backpack.

    Got these because my last sony headphones broke after almost 3 years. I had the predecessor headphone models, which I loved. It was a more affordable, and honestly really simillar to the XM series. Im really happy with these because they feel slightly lighter, and the noise cancelling is WAY better. I like the noise cancellation off feature so I can be more in tune with my surroundings. The bass is also a lot better from the last pair. Best Buy also carried out my order ASAP after I put the order in from the site.

    I use these all day everyday. Amazing sound quality, extremely comfortable, and at a lower price end for Sony headphones. Personally I like these way better than the WH1000 XM4s that I used to have. The battery life is super long, and it doesn't take long at all to charge them. Would totally recommend !

    Bought these more for flying than anything but have been using them mowing the lawn and have been pleased with the sound. They fit good on my head don’t feel like they’ll fall off. I don’t really like the adaptive sound as it was cutting in and out, so I turned it off with the phone app. If you want to turn down the noise suppression, simply cover the right ear muff. I think these will work great on my upcoming flight. Would buy again

    After owning the XM5s for over a year I decided to pick these up as the XM5s severely lacked in bass performance. Despite the "cheaper" feel and build, they perform very well and at times, are on par with the XM5s when in ULT 1 mode and both EQs in flat profiles. It has all the main features Sony advertises for the XM5s with the added benefit of folding itself to save on space, something I dislike about the XM5s. If you're coming from nothing, purchase these as you get big features for a small price. If your main listening genres are bass heavy like EDM, hip-hop, rock, etc, I highly recommend them as they emphasize those notes more and make the song feel more energetic. I personally prefer more bass so these fit me perfectly. The XM5s do have clearer and brighter characteristics than the ULTs at times but that can be compensated by adjusting the EQ. Very comfortable, sleek, light (Weighs the same as XM5), and is feature-rich so you don't feel left out in options. ANC is technically not the same as XM5 but I personally didn't notice a big difference between the two. Also, many claim that the mic isn't as clear as the XM5s but I rarely use these headphones when calling. Overall solid headphone for those who want the music to hit.

    These headphones are great. The ULT bass feature is nice for on the fly eq adjustment of music. The spatial 3D audio is also awesome. I’m using Tidal as the music source and it feels like I’m listening to some of my favorite songs for the first time again. The bass is powerful but with the ULT off the sound is still clear and the bass isn’t overwhelming. These are not the XM5s but they are half the cost and still sound great. The active noise canceling is also ver effective and works well even when not playing music. I’m very happy with the purchase.

    Great bang for your buck head phones! For the price you really cant go wrong they have great sound lots of bass but you can al adjust the eq if youd rather have a more mellow sounding head phone. They are comfortable and battery seem to last forever.

    The ULT headset is very similar to Sony’s M4 and M5 headset. The ult has a built in ANC (active noise cancelling) function, with a tap of a button, the ult cancels all sound from all around you, to a ULT button that increases the bass drastically. This is a mid-range headset that is very budget friendly and comes with a carry case for it as well.

    Got these on sale and did the geek squad protection to total under $200! I’m a iphone - apple music user and set up was easy with the sony connect app. I usually use airpod pro 2s and my previous over ear headphones were crusher anc 2s. I like these alot! I use ult 2 and vocal EQ on app & they sound perfect for me. They are not loud headphones but loud enough where you don’t have to turn volume all the way up to enjoy your music. One word to describe these headphones would be chill! The overall sound is just chill. They have Avg ANC, and excellent real bass, I didn’t like the the artificial bass on anc 2. Vocals are is a little bit distorted and under instrumental but overal output sound is smooth for a enjoyable listening experience. I have not messed with custom eq because i’m fine with what the stock options changed so far. Worth it!

    These are amazing. I’ve tried the Apple ones, bose and jbl and I prefer these over all other options. They fit perfectly, the sound is amazing and the ability to turn on and off the noise cancellation is my favorite feature. The battery lasts weeks for me - I wear them around 1 hour/day for workouts! Definitely worth it!

    We have tried many over-the-ear headphones and these are the most comfortable ones yet. The sound feels great, not overwhelming and more than enough. It does not stop you from hearing a toddler shreaking right next to you but it muffles it enough that it does not over power the music. Finally, the green is a very nice shade not at all loud and ugly.

    Sony sets the standard always. For me it's all about high quality sound and has never disappointed me. Sound is excellent for all genres. Battery life is excellent, fit is very comfortable. You can customize your sound or use the Sony presets which bring the thump if you want it. Great headphones with high-quality Sony sound. I expect nothing less from them and they deliver.

    The sound quality out of the box is impressive! The EQ app is fully optional but worth a look if you prefer to control your audio space to be just right. Also, it comes with an aux/wired option. No fancy EQ settings or electronic noise cancelling whilst wired, but the headphones are very good at filtering extra noise through their construction alone. I love how easy it is to connect with bluetooth and the portability of the headphones makes for easy packing when I go on trips or just when tidying up.
