The WH-1000XM4 features Sony’s industry-leading noise canceling technology, which is specifically engineered to handle more challenging environments, such as warehouses or other extremely loud locations.

While the WH-ULT900N provides solid everyday noise reduction, especially at its price point, its performance in highly intense noise environments will be less comprehensive than the WH-1000XM4. We regret to hear you are having some audio issues with your ULT WEAR Headphones. Our ULT WEAR has a slider that you can use to adjust the length of the headband to get the best fit and for comfortable listening experience. Please note that if you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect. We do have good information on how to wear the headband headphones correctly so it is comfortable and reasons why your ears may hurt when putting on or wearing headphones. By downloading the Sony Sound Connect app, it lets you adjust the equalizer and gives you different sound modes. This will give you more control over your headphones and their performance. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission.
