Good Headphones but Hinges Will Break

I liked them, and they were comfortable to wear. There's apparently an issue with the hinge that can cause them to randomly snap, and then you have cups that just dangle. Really unfortunate issue cause otherwise I liked them.

I can listen to my book or or podcasts when flying. That being said, Im still not sure if it's working thru Bluetooth or just noise cancelling. I'm not real tech savvy.
