Solid Headphones overall

The bass boosting feature is a bit hit and miss, and can cause distortion at times. The touch pad volume control can be activated more easily than I would prefer; just brushing the side of the left shell can crank your volume instantly! They are also a bit stiff feeling after extended wear time. However, they do cancel ambient nice pretty well. I purchased these on sale, and I would say they work well for the price point. I don't have five hundred to drop on headphones I wear for a few hours every other day. For my needs, they were a solid buy.

A good set of headphones

But the ult’s have a bass boost, which Sony has not had in a while, so i wanted to check them out. I am totally impressed with the sound quality of yhese headphones! My only downside is the max volume could go s notch or two high! Other than that they are perfect!

Very good headphones

I use them while cutting grass with zero turn and I can only slightly hear the mower running. Much better than the old Sony headphones from years ago. Noise cancelling is very good for your hearing because you don’t have to have the music loud to hear it. Snagged a very good sale too!

Sony continues to improve

Sound quality is also excellent for a good all purpose headphone set with the bass function being able to deliver extra punch without any harshness in the sound.
