Quality sound in my opinion but the bass could be a little harder. Noise canceling is great tho

Thank you for your loyalty over the last two years! To get that harder-hitting bass you're looking for, try pressing the "ULT" button on the left ear cup to cycle between the "Deep Bass" and "Attack Bass" modes. You can also use the Sony | Sound Connect app to increase the "Clear Bass" slider or select the "Heavy" equalizer preset for maximum impact.

For me it's all about high quality sound and has never disappointed me. Sound is excellent for all genres. Battery life is excellent, fit is very comfortable. You can customize your sound or use the Sony presets which bring the thump if you want it. Great headphones with high-quality Sony sound. I expect nothing less from them and they deliver.

Comfy on the head

The sound feels great, not overwhelming and more than enough. It does not stop you from hearing a toddler shreaking right next to you but it muffles it enough that it does not over power the music. Finally, the green is a very nice shade not at all loud and ugly.

The EQ app is fully optional but worth a look if you prefer to control your audio space to be just right. Also, it comes with an aux/wired option. No fancy EQ settings or electronic noise cancelling whilst wired, but the headphones are very good at filtering extra noise through their construction alone. I love how easy it is to connect with bluetooth and the portability of the headphones makes for easy packing when I go on trips or just when tidying up.

Great for the price!

I wanted noise cancelling and they are much better than my last pair. They are comfortable, over-the-ear headphones. I do wish the charging cable was as long as the plug-in cord for airplane monitor, so if I ever need to charge more (for long flights), I can still wear them while charging. Not as expensive as some headphones, but not cheap either. I might buy another set for my husband. Oh! They come with a hard-shell case…perfect!

Great Sound & ANC. Both hinges broke.

I use them for gaming and ANC works even when wired, which is a huge plus. I can't hear anything. With all that being said, after 3 months, both hinges cracked and broke. The hollow plastic design is light and comfortable, but completely flawed. Super disappointed.

Head rattling bass

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these as a replacement of my Sony H.ear on 2 and they did not disappoint. Sound is very good and balanced when ULT (the bass mode) is turned off and head rattling when ULT is turned on. There are 2 levels of ULT, the first one being a sweet spot and the second one being an overly exaggerated bass everywhere, listening to non-bassy music on ULT 2 makes you hear bass that you didn't even know was there to begin with (which is kinda nice but can be too much some times). Noise cancelling is very good at all music volume levels and the ambient sound mode is even better assuming you don't go past 50%. The app is very nice and let's you mess with the equalizer to find the perfect sound for you and the carrying case is a nice plus. The only downside is the build quality. The plastic they used feels too cheap for headphones of this price (my previous Sony pair feels WAY better despite being older by more than a couple years and costing the same when they came out), they don't feel like they are going to break that easily, however, for the price, they could have done a way better job; the build quality is basically on par with any $50 headphones.
