Best headphones I’ve used!

I mostly have listened to Bluetooth speakers over the years and have loved those but this is the most immersive experience I have found. They fit good on my head don’t feel like they’ll fall off. I don’t really like the adaptive sound as it was cutting in and out, so I turned it off with the phone app. If you want to turn down the noise suppression, simply cover the right ear muff. I think these will work great on my upcoming flight. Would buy again

Sound is very good and balanced when ULT (the bass mode) is turned off and head rattling when ULT is turned on. There are 2 levels of ULT, the first one being a sweet spot and the second one being an overly exaggerated bass everywhere, listening to non-bassy music on ULT 2 makes you hear bass that you didn't even know was there to begin with (which is kinda nice but can be too much some times). Noise cancelling is very good at all music volume levels and the ambient sound mode is even better assuming you don't go past 50%. The app is very nice and let's you mess with the equalizer to find the perfect sound for you and the carrying case is a nice plus. The only downside is the build quality. The plastic they used feels too cheap for headphones of this price (my previous Sony pair feels WAY better despite being older by more than a couple years and costing the same when they came out), they don't feel like they are going to break that easily, however, for the price, they could have done a way better job; the build quality is basically on par with any $50 headphones.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a Bose Quietcomfort headset, the sound quality on the Sony headset is really good, actually a bit better than the Bose. However, the sound app is trash and the auto shutdown seems to be flawed! The Sony sound app works but you'll have to tinker with it a bit if you're connecting multiple devices. Aside from the app being trash, I've ran into an issue where the headset just randomly powers off after about 15 - 30 minutes, while I'm actively listening to something. The only fix I've found was to turn off the feature that turns the headset off after a period of in actively, but now the headset will not power off if I forget to manually turn them off. These are a personal pain point for me because I'm always on the move, but the battery life seems to be pretty good. Even when I forget to turn it off, it still has a decent amount of battery left, the next day when I put them on.

Great Sound & ANC. Both hinges broke.

I use them for gaming and ANC works even when wired, which is a huge plus. I can't hear anything. With all that being said, after 3 months, both hinges cracked and broke. The hollow plastic design is light and comfortable, but completely flawed. Super disappointed.

Great Headphones with Deep Bass

In a good way of course. You have the option of low, medium and high. I only use the bass boost button or the ult button whenever. I just want to have a little fun but most of the time I just keep it on low. Excellent Sony quality capacitive touch controls. Fairly intuitive can be finicky sometimes, it does pack some features from their higher end models that make it worth looking at.

I wanted noise cancelling and they are much better than my last pair. They are comfortable, over-the-ear headphones. I do wish the charging cable was as long as the plug-in cord for airplane monitor, so if I ever need to charge more (for long flights), I can still wear them while charging. Not as expensive as some headphones, but not cheap either. I might buy another set for my husband. Oh! They come with a hard-shell case…perfect!
