The sound feels great, not overwhelming and more than enough. It does not stop you from hearing a toddler shreaking right next to you but it muffles it enough that it does not over power the music. Finally, the green is a very nice shade not at all loud and ugly.

I don’t really use the ult mode though and I do not like how it sounds. But otherwise its great. I use it just casually to listen to some music as I walk somewhere or am doing work. The only good Sony ULT device

They’re no $500+ Sennheiser with the audio card but the clarity of the mids and moderate bass makes songs immersive. It’s not like other headphones where the “bass” is a vibrating ear piece. It’s bass from the actual speaker itself. I never understood why people think the vibrating ear pieces are “bass”, it’s not and you can clearly hear the difference. Anyway, yeah. They’re solid. I recommend them. I also use them for wired* PS5 gaming. Just know your mic will be through your PS5 controller and not the headphones. Do not buy anything else “Sony ULT” these are the only good things produced from that line. Even the Bluetooth speakers, legit returned the Bluetooth speaker the same day I bought it and got a JBL on-the-go essential instead.

I got them for remote work and virtual meetings, but they’re so comfortable that I also use them for gaming and listening to music. The ability to decide on the bass is great, but the control over noise reduction is outstanding! If you want to hear people around you talking, you can turn it off and hear them just as clearly as if you weren’t wearing the headphones. Don’t want to hear people around you, turn the noise reduction on and you’ll be in your own world of music. As for the microphone, people can hear me more clearly than with other headsets with a retractable mic. The battery lasts multiple days of 8 hour use on a single charge, and when it goes low… it literally charges nearly halfway on 5 minutes.

Perfect for movies or music and they are both wireless or wired in case you have an older component stereo system like I do. All of the greatest classic rock, r&b, etc. sound incredible. The movies are so much better when you can have volume. So if you are in an apartment or condos you can still enjoy your movies like in a theater without disturbing your neighbors.

I had the XB900Ns for 3 years, and i loved them a lot but the one side of the headband snapped when i went on a trip in March. I had purchased them for an absolute bargain (used) back in ‘21 but one glaring fault with them was the lackluster Noise Cancellation on them. These ULT wears do the job; their lightweight, i love the aesthetic personally, and the noise cancellation is actually noise CANCELLATION. It actually goes toe to toe with my sister’s XM5s, and im a basshead so the extra kick in the bass is a HUGE plus for me. Highly recommend

To get that harder-hitting bass you're looking for, try pressing the "ULT" button on the left ear cup to cycle between the "Deep Bass" and "Attack Bass" modes. You can also use the Sony | Sound Connect app to increase the "Clear Bass" slider or select the "Heavy" equalizer preset for maximum impact.

They make listening to music a treat and I hear things in songs that I never heard before with my airpods 3. I also use them for watching anime and I really enjoy it. Music, sound effects, and voices are all crisp. The bass booms when there are scenes with explosions and I love it. I haven't had to charge these yet and I got them on March 27. Almost one month ago. These headphones rock and I highly recommend them!

It's not as dynamic, but the cost difference at the time of buying was significant. I did like it still came with an aux cord. It is necessary for the "painful but necessary" plane flights. I mostly use it on planes or at work.
