I purchased the UltWear headphones after my previous pair of Sony WH-XB910N headphones stopped working after around a year and a half of use. I had the Best Buy warranty purchased for the WH-XB910N headphones and assumed it would be a simple process to get my new pair. How wrong I was. Sony (very conveniently I might add) discontinued the WH-XB910N headphones, so getting a replacement pair was not an option. Instead, I had to pay the difference out of pocket between the original price of the WH-XB910Ns and the UltWear headphones. I figured the increase in price I had to pay would be worth it as I would be receiving higher quality headphones that would last longer than their previous generation (How wrong I was again). Almost every negative review for the ULTWear headphones on this page mentions the same flaw, the swivel hinge on the ear cups being faulty. Similar to other reviews, the headphones were well taken care of and have barely seen usage since their purchase, however the swivel hinge snapped all the same (Look at my photo and compare it to the others, all the headphones have snapped in the exact same place). This has been mentioned by countless other reviewers, yet Sony has clearly decided to avoid the issue in lieu of selling more defective products. After spending hours on the phone with both Best Buy customer support and Sony support, they both assured me that neither were culpable in covering the product and the costs of repair would fall on me. Utterly disappointing interactions with both companies who could have done even the slightest act to reestablish good faith. Its a shame too because I really recommended these headphones and the previous pair to literally everyone I know. I'll have no problem sharing the news now that Sony headphones and their products in general are not even worth the box they are packaged in. Stick to another retailer, buy Bose and avoid the mess of ever dealing with either of these businesses.

I have to say the sound quality, range and the length of charge hold is great. The only downfall for me is I need a pair I can sleep with and they don't seem to want to stay on when I move around. I will probably take them back and upgrade to the more expensive model that fit my ears better.

I use at the gym, school, and even during my free time. At the gym, they are stable & don’t fall while doing exercises that make me look down. Noise cancellation is great but could be better! Battery life is also amazing even after 9 months, i only need to charge once every 2 months if needed. overall 4.5/5!

I’m a iphone - apple music user and set up was easy with the sony connect app. I usually use airpod pro 2s and my previous over ear headphones were crusher anc 2s. I like these alot! I use ult 2 and vocal EQ on app & they sound perfect for me. They are not loud headphones but loud enough where you don’t have to turn volume all the way up to enjoy your music. One word to describe these headphones would be chill! The overall sound is just chill. They have Avg ANC, and excellent real bass, I didn’t like the the artificial bass on anc 2. Vocals are is a little bit distorted and under instrumental but overal output sound is smooth for a enjoyable listening experience. I have not messed with custom eq because i’m fine with what the stock options changed so far. Worth it!
