We are sorry to hear that the sound and features on the ULT WEAR headphones aren't really hitting the mark for you, especially for the price. We usually see folks loving the dedicated ULT bass button for that extra punch, but we totally get that everyone has different tastes when it comes to audio.

If you haven't already, we definitely recommend downloading the Sony Sound Connect app. You can play around with the customizable Equalizer settings in there to tweak the sound profile and see if it helps bring out more of what you're looking for.

If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect.
