Wow, where do I start with these Sony Ult Headphones? They’re seriously impressive! First off, they’re super comfy to wear. I can pop them on and forget I’m even wearing them, which is a huge plus for those marathon listening sessions. And let’s talk about the sound quality – it’s like I’m hearing my favorite songs for the first time. The highs are crystal clear, the mids are warm and inviting, and don’t even get me started on that bass. It’s deep, it’s rich, and it just hits differently. Oh, and noise cancellation? Plus, the battery life is impressive – I can go for hours without needing a recharge, and when I do, it’s quick and painless. My only tiny complaint is that sometimes the touch controls can be a bit fiddly, but honestly, that’s a small price to pay for everything else these headphones offer. Drawbacks: •On bass boost setting 1, I find a rich range low and mid frequencies, but some of the high notes do not feel crisp. It could be possible to adjust manually with the EQ settings in the Sony app. •I find the headset just a fraction too heavy, causing some discomfort after wearing for >1hr without taking off. Overall - Absolutely worth the money. If your music preferences include any rap, EDM, or generally bass heavy genres, this headset will have your eardrums thumping. 5/5 would buy again. Use them multiple hours a day for work and for getting chores done around the house. Would not use them for workouts as they are too bulky for that. For my personal background: My previous headphones were the Sony WH-CH720N and I was looking to upgrade to something with deeper sound capabilities. I have had multiple sound systems in my life and think any speaker setup is incomplete without a dedicated subwoofer. My main preference for music is electronic music.

I got these because my wife was getting annoyed when I tried to record music & my old pairs she said she could hear them all the time. These are really quiet both ways but sound very loud and warm when you wear them. I listened to a lot of old stuff id heard a thousand times and they seemed 100 times better just from the basic fullness of the frequency range. These sound extremely good if a little bit heavy on the bass, but i think the app has EQ settings. You can wear these mowing the lawn and that sort of thing and be able to hear it. Good noise cancel. Really comfortable, which lots of headphones are good at first but after a while my ears and top of my head get sore. Lots of padding. The battery is great, charging is fast then lasts a long time. They also work great with a regular stereo mini jack aux cord which I usually use anyway Only things I’m not huge on is the capacitive touch control. Really cool tech gimmick, but it’s always getting false triggers if I brush up against something or adjust them etc. It was a little tough to get the Bluetooth connection going on my wife’s phone for some reason. Until I put the app on it too. I guess it tries to recognize the app before the regular Bluetooth signal? And yeah the bass frequencies are boomy and clear as bass can be but the default sound maybe has an absurd amount too much, but that’s only a “too much good thing” complaint. Some of my old synthesizers and drum machines I thought sounded mediocre were actually just not given proper listening output Overall though amazing sound and worth the price.

Genuinely speaking, one of the best headphones I've worn. Besides the usually excellent Sony build quality, the biggest feature is versatility. At the press of a button, you can switch between low bass, moderate bass, and pounding base, all of which can be adjusted on the phone app. Likewise, at the press of another button, you can switch between ambient noise canceling to focus on the music, or ambient noise boosting, letting you hear things around you more easily. Throw in comfortable ear pads, a headphone jack if you don't have wireless capabilities, and build in microphone for calls, it's really a do everything product. Functionally perfect.

Got these on sale for 180 and couldn't be happier. Every Sony product I buy has always lasted and has had superb quality. The reason I went for these was because of the bass button and I'm glad I did. Some might wonder which to get Skullcandy evos/nc or these. What I will say is if you want better sound quality get the ULT WEAR but if you want skull rattling bass get the Candys. I listen to a vast genres of music from hip-hop to metal and classical to country. These headphones make all genres sound good. You will need to download the app to get everything out of these. I made a custom eq which makes them sound better than from out of box. I've had them for a week charged them fully using noise cancelling daily and they're only at 50% battery. The only complaints I have is that I wish they could go maybe two volume clicks higher and they have disconnected on me once for like 2 seconds then reconnected.

I was amazed by this product. The noise cancellation is excellent, and the audio sounds crisp and powerful. I love the equalizer options and how comfortable they are for outdoor activities. The battery lasts a very long time. It was definitely worth the purchase unbeatable value for the price. 100% recommended

For the amount that I paid for them these are amazing. Has long lasting charge, amazing audio, comfortable, and they are stylish. You would think that for around 100 they would be decent but these could honestly compete against $500 headphones.

However, I’ve noticed some difficulty with Bluetooth pairing at times especially when connecting to Apple devices and occasionally with certain laptops. It’s not a constant issue, but it can be a bit inconvenient when it happens. Overall, these headphones deliver excellent sound, strong noise cancellation, and a premium look. If you can look past the occasional connectivity hiccup, they’re a strong offering from Sony, especially for bass lovers.

Well, after trying these on, I just wanna say it has a great base. The connection is awesome and also it has great sound quality. The battery life is perfect.

I am someone who always is wearing my headphones. Either on my neck or on my head and these are extremely comfortable for long term use. I have a slightly bigger head so headphones tend to run a bit tight, thankfully not a problem here. Sound quality is fantastic with the base being especially great. Battery life is good but a little worse than what im used to. Biggest problem is the app for the mobile phone is terrible and makes switching between my pc and phone quite clunky. Also it feels a more fragile than i would like.

Great at noice canceling, good ear muff for winter, battery lasts more than a week. Didn’t find much of a difference with ULT turned on, but that could also be because of the choice of songs. However felt a little bulky in mobility as compared to other over the ear headphones.

It’s been close to a month since I purchased these. I’ve got to say it was a great buy, I’m really enjoying them. They sound great, feel good and look great. For sure happy with the purchase.

Bough back a few weeks ago , never disconnects, battery life is outstanding and the sound is good. The only issue would be the plastic brackets that hold the headphones is a bit flimsy. For the price they are good . As long as you use them as directed they should be good for a while.

The headphones are quality and a good value. Sound very good. But not the best. The bass good. It definitely thumps. Only negative, I wished it would go louder. The battery life I think is longer than advertised. I compared these to the more expensive Beats. IMO SONY is better. With similar sound. I also took notice, Beats have many open box - returns. But Sony doesn’t have open box to buy.
