Get an awesome pair of cans for under $200

I stumbled upon these a few weeks ago, did a lot of research and decided to give the a go. A wise decision on my point. Sony has always been hit or miss for me; I like clarity and punch in my music; not just overwhelming bass (like the other model of headphones I was looking at). These, even wih the ULT button (which amps up the bass by 2 levels) simply worked well, allowing me to listen to everything from hip-hop to classical music. It is a great combo of affordability, including a lot of the more expensive Sony headphones tricks (like cupping. the right earcup to lower the volume so you can converse w/o removing the headphones, for example)for about $200 less. Highly recommended.

The only reason for a 4-star rating is the way the form pad (cushion) is attached to the earmuff. It tends to be the first part of the headphone that fails in wear performance. Other than that, these are terrific!

They do a pretty good job at cancelling noises, and the sound is immersive. I recommend these headphones if someone is on a budget like me! I do have to say, they are more on the gray side with a hint of olive green.

Bass lovers headphones

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market of the MX5 headset and after listening to the new ULT headset I realized how much the bass I was really missing...the bass is totally adjustable in the android app to your liking. I specifically bought these to listen to moives late at night and PC solo gaming and enjoying enhanced bass music. I would recommend these if your a old school bass head whos loves ridiculous bass music. The only "con" I may have is that is may lack high treble reproduction in some songs or games....but it "not" a deal breaker at all. It is a good five stars purchase for under $200.00.
