I plugged the RCA cables into my stereo and I was unable to hear any sound. I also used a converter to go into the microphone input in my computer and still no sound. I took it back to Best Buy and had the Geek Squad test it and they were unable to get any sound either. Probably just a defect so a returned it.

I had to reset the belt underneath the pad first and it turned on just fine. However, playing a record was really noisy. I understand this budget model you can't replace the needle cartridge, so it's going back and I'm going to spend the money on a more expensive model.

I didn't like the sound from it and just lack as a name brand item. After owning it for six months, I traded it in at a record shop and got a vintage model from the mid-80s that had more bells & whistles along with a rich round.

While recording I didn't realist the volume was turned up so I could hear it. The ones I recorded you can barely hear. I have tried a number of times to adjust the level of the USB input without any luck. So, back to square one for me.

Spend a little extra for a better turntable

I had a lot of feed back amd the platter didn't run consistent speeds. I ended up returning the turntable. Spend a little extra and get one with rca jacks so you can use decent cables. On turntables weight matter and its important to get good needle.

connection cables too short
