I'm not the most tech savvy person in the world but I figured this baby out. Very easy to use. Now I can enjoy my vinyl collection :)

Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but is perfect for sitting back and listening to some classics with good quality through the right speaker setup.

The turntable itself is great. However the software is very hard to use for a beginner like me. I recorded on my computer and put it on a USB to use in my car and the sound quality is horrible. It will take a long time to "tweak" things on the program to get it to sound decent.

I don't get to use as much as I would like, but didn't expect it to quit after just a few records. I haven't used in a couple of months and today I put on a record and it played about 2 times the speed of the 33 rpm record. Thought I had the speed wrong so I changed and started over. This time it was about 4 times the speed. Checked the belt and it was fine. Also the tone arm comes down in the middle of the record and I have the size of the record selected correctly. Again I state it's a piece of JUNK. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I haven't been able to use the turntable yet because the RCA audio cables that come with the unit are too short (24 inches) and do not detach. Unless your turntable is placed on top of your receiver, you can't plug the unit into the receiver. If your receiver has ventilation slots on the top, then you have to place your turntable elsewhere. Because of the limitation, you have to buy an RCA female-to-male extension cable.

I like it because it sleek looking and has a lid on it to protect my records when playing.

Sound quality is good. It's definitely worth the money you spend.

Works great. I haven't had any problems with it in almost 5 years of owing it.

I purchased this turntable and hooked it up to my stereo and the sound quality is great , unfortunely nowhere on this website or in the accompaning paperwork does it state this product does not suppot a laptop you must use a desktop to convert LPs to mp3 files although the sound quality is great I cannot use this product for what I purchased it for a total waste of my money

We purchased this turntable yesterday to transfer vinyl to computer. Took the packet out of the box to read information and found that the software is only compatible through Windows 8/8.1. I did some research to see if there was a download to update to be compatible with Windows 10, there wasn't. I then called Sony and was told that they don't have software for Windows 10 yet. I told them they did because I was looking at it (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/audiostudio/techspec). She told me that the software that came with the turntable was developed in 2008.....again, not my problem if you are selling 7 year old software. She also told me that the turntable is plug and play and there is not software. I informed her that was incorrect because there is a cd included with editing software. Even though they OWN the software, they will not send a link to get compatible software for their equipment ("because it is a different divison".....lame excuse, still Sony) that has outdated software at no charge to the consumer, they just want more money from the consumer. Part of the reason I chose this is because it had the included software. Therefore, I will be returning this to Best Buy and go with a different turntable, and will NEVER even consider Sony again.

Needed a new turnable since my older one requires an AMP and my new stereo system can support it. Stop by the store and saw this one real cheap. I am happy I got it was missing out on all my old LPs.

Easy hookup, works well through receiver, very good sound quality.

Not substantial enough to prevent picking up noise and vibration . It is ok for the price paid but I wish I would have gotten an Audio-technica at about twice the price level. I think I would have been far happier and gotten a more standardized replaceable and upgradable cartridge.

Looking for a turntable to play my wife's old vinyl. This one did the job. Good sound at an economical price.

i received this turntable for Christmas last year and it is just great. just put your album on and hit play its that simple.

The turntable works well with my stereo. The built in pre-amp allows the turntable to be connected with my stereo, which does not have a turntable connection. The price allows me to play the limited albums and 45's I kept without breaking the bank.

Can someone tell me how to listen to the recordings as they are recorded. Once recorded I am lost at trying to figure out how to identify the files and burn them to CD Thanks
