Overall, excellent audio recording. I need to record uninterrupted for 6 hours once a week. It will! Loads file easily with USB plugged into my MAC. I am able to create a file and upload to Dropbox seamlessly. Love all the settings. Very easy to learn and use. Lightweight. Only drawback, can shut off if small on/off button is bumped or if you had it plugged in for charging and you unplug it. However, I have learned if given a full charge in advance of recording internal memory and charge is sufficient and no need at all to worry about about stopping a recording. Files upload as an MP3. You can create files, delete files effortlessly on device. It does not take long to learn how to use the devise. You probably can record more if you use a micro SD chip but internal memory is reliable. Very satisfied with capabilities of such a small device.

This recorder is even better than I was expecting. Sony products are generally great but the quality of the sound is remarkable for such a small, light-weight recorder. It's so easy to use I didn't even open up the directions, I just used them for campfire fuel. The first thing I said was, "Watson, come here!" and, lo and behold, our of the blue my friend Alex Watson knocked on the door. Remarkable! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a small, compact sound recorder.

I used this recorder for class lectures and its great! I had previously bought a cheaper sony voice recorder that ran on batteries and I had to change the battery at least twice in a month. I got this one because I can charge it and because of the USB access. I highly recomment this to students. Its small, quiet, the battery lasts forever! The recordings are very clear even when I sit further away from the professor.

Great sound quality, easy to use and hold a.charhe for a long time. Picks up voices clearly. Highly recommend if in the market.

The sound quality is fantastic! It's compact and comes with its own built in USD - just plug it into the electrical outlet. If there's anything that is troublesome for me, there are way too many things to do with this recorder. It takes some time to learn. I'm sure a techie could figure it out in a minute.

Absolutely excellent. The users manual and operating instructions are very clear and easy to follow. This is very simple to charge. The sound upon playback is crystal clear. It is the best thing I have ever bought. Very lightweight. Travels easily. Great looking. I highly recommend this recorder.

Playback quality much better than an iPhone and has better features to improve the clarity of audio. Battery lasts a long time. It’s quite handy too.

I use it for recording my classes. taking audio notes and occasionally for recording dream diaries. The audio quality is really excellent and the controls are easy to operate even when I'm half asleep. Music playback is also surprisingly crisp and detailed (although a little lacking in bass compared to a dedicated audio player), and with an SD card to expand it memory it can do double duty as storage for files and documents. This recorder is very cable. We are pleased.

You get what you pay for an item! I'm really pleased with this voice recorder. The quality of the recordings is excellent. It is very user friendly.

Like the title say's. It's small and compact. It works very well. Picks up voices well. I mainly use this recorder for picking up spirit voices while ghost hunting. it's fairly easy to use. I'm happy with this purchase.

So, I’ve used this for a couple months now. I simply use this for recording thoughts, memos, ideas, etc. that I do not want recorded on my mobile devices. In other words, I haven’t recorded lectures. Pros: Compact design, lightweight, decent recording capture of my voice, fairly easy to record, pause, stop. Cons: fragile! Don’t sit on it or drop it as it will likely break. Not intuitive as in too many buttons to push to retrieve recordings. Definitely cannot operate in the dark or without looking at device without significant memorization of button locations, feel/shape of buttons, etc. It would be a huge improvement if the buttons illuminated (at least the main ones). Finally, while the retractable USB is convenient, it will break at some point. Not a question of if, but when. It’s pretty flimsy. I think it’s an unnecessary feature. Just provide a usb slot with a cord.

Very easy friendly use! Definitely worth the buy! And the size of it as well is perfect!

This recorder is perfect for personal voice notes or meetings. The mic is very sensitive and ive had no issues picking up voices speaking normally in conference rooms as large as 25 square feet. I would say it begins to fall off after that if the sound or voice you are recording is not relatively loud. The only downside to this thing is that transfers are done through USB type A which most modern light laptops have lost. Otherwise, file management is simple, battery life is adequate for semi-regular use. Anyone needing a device for personal voice notes, meetings, or a back up for interviews or close proximity videos, this is perhaps perfect if you don’t mind the only connectivity and charging being USB A. Mirco SD card is your other option which this support.

The audio recorder is a compact. It captures great sound making it ideal for lecture. Easy-to-read display and lightweight design and has a long battery life for extended use. It is very reliable and dependable recorder. I bought this recorder because I needed a reliable recorder for my classes. Helps me go back and listen to the lecture for easier study.

Great sound, good build quality, and great for listening to music as well. Software for it is available on the device when you plug it in. Love the integrated USB so I don't have to carry a cord with me. I use it for recording lectures in school, great for studying and making notes for myself.

Purchased this to record a training session so that I could review all information later. It worked wonderfully. The recording was clear and I was able to review the training. Very easy to setup and use. I love that it's small enough to fit into a pocket.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone! It is very easy to use! The interface is awesome! And I love that it has a built-in USB to hook right into the computer. I also love that it has a built-in battery so I can just charge it!

This recorder has great range and clarity of sound. It also has a slide-out USB plug that allows you to slide it into your laptop or desktop and listen to, copy and store it in Mp4 format. I would recommend this to a friend or colleague. Fits perfectly into a shirt or jacket pocket.

Very simple and is exactly what i needed. The playback sound is very clear. I also like the usb charging vs having to use batteries.
