Points of comparison are limited to Bose SoundSport and wired headphones such as QuietComfort. Sound from the Sony headphones is flat. Changing the equalization settings didn’t seem to make a difference. Also, noise cancellation didn’t seem to have any impact. Check package contents against list of included items. My guess is a set of the wings weren’t included in early shipments.

The headphones couldn't keep a connection for more than 2 minutes. Either one or the other disconnected. Sometimes both. Also, the delay when watching video was atrocious.

Dropped Audio

Unfortunately these did not perform well at all in. Real world use. The noise cancelling was ok, but the biggest issue is that the audio would cut in and out. I returned them and bought the Bose Wireless Soundsport.

Solid pair of buds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only other wireless buds I have ever used are the Bose QC30 with the neckband, so that is my point of reference. While I loved the Bose, I didn't want the collar, but I wanted noise cancellation. So far, these have been pretty good. Good, balanced sound. Bass is noticeable, though I wish it was a little more present. Everything is nice and clear. I haven't played with these enough to put the Adaptive Noise Canceling to the test, but in the Active setting, they do a great job of keeping things tuned out. There are a couple of items that can stand to improve. Volume doesn't get very high, for one, though I guess with the noise canceling on, it isn't that big of a deal. The second is that the case seems like the lid will probably break if I don't treat it like a Faberge Egg every time I go in to pull out the buds. Finally, if you love the StayHear tips that Bose offers, then unfortunately I have bad news for you: these don't hold a candle to those tips. They stay in well enough, but after trying all tip and fin combinations available, I just don't feel the rock-solid seating that I did with the QC30. Overall, though, the sound is good, they are comfortable enough, and the battery life is about where I expected it to be with so much tech jammed in here. If you feel like dropping a couple of hundred, then these should do you pretty well.

If you are going to use them for a short workout, they will be fine. Anything longer (long plane flight, bike ride, etc.) you will be disappointed. And the salesman said this was one of their best headphones . . .
