Sony got it wrong with these...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm terribly frustrated with these in-ear 'bluetooth/wireless' headphones. They lose connection more oft than not, firmware update won't complete, as it fails after reaching 50%. I had a pair of Jabra Elite Sports that I was looking to replace after one of the earbuds went bad. Unfortunately Best Buy didn't have any Jabras at the store, so I decided to give these a try. The worst mistake, EVER. These are going back, after work and I'll be ordering the Jabra Elite Sports. I'll just have to wait for it to ship/arrive. Try again Sony!!!

Great headphones with amazing audio.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use to own the JBL true wireless but they always lost connection between the headphones. I use them for the gym and daily routines to listen to music and podcast. These are the first I try and actually love and have a hard time getting them to lose connection. There is a setting on the Sony headphone app that let's you control the audio bass level, noise cancelling levels and if to focus on connectivity or sound quality.

Bad Connection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read some of the review and I thought Sony would make a great wireless headphone. The sound quality is not bad but not good enough for Sony. Noise Cancellation wasn't as expected and the right ear lose connection in charging case after 3 weeks use. Not recommended to buy any headphones from Sony again.

Wanted to love these
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought these as a comparison to the AirPods. I like AirPods but they let in too much outside noise, so I then turn the volume up too high. I have an iPhone 7 Plus for reference. I had a few issues. First, they paired right away via the headphone app (yay) and an update was found. I tried to update multiple times and it failed each time. I think the headphones time out and turn off. Then the right bud wouldn't stay paired for some reason when playing music. Ok, so I turn off/on again, and they work great! Then they kept shutting off for seemingly no reason. I get them paired again and they're working in the app, great, exit the app to go to my Music app and they unpair. I'm wondering if they only work with the app in the foreground? I don't know, but what I do know is I spent 20 or so minutes trying to listen to a song and I'm not going to do that so they are going back.

Great for Music, BAD, BAD for Videos
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying out the Bose, I thought Sony and has noise canceling also, should be a no brainer. Music was wonderful, but trying to watch videos was just terrible. A second delay in 2018 and for a price point of $200 just doesn't cut it. I thought I was watching an old Bruce Lee movie.

Heart Breaker...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these yesterday and they are having issues communicating with each other which causes them to drop sound constantly. They look and sound great however they will not allow you to enjoy uninterrupted music.

Posted .Hi AngelR, Due to the characteristic of the wireless technology, the sound played on this headset is delayed from the sound and music played on the sending device. Therefore, the image and sound may be misaligned when viewing a movie or playing a game: http://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wf1000x/v1/en/contents/TP0001513172.html
Thank you for the feedback.
