The general functionality of the headphones is good, but the sound quality is lacking when you consider the price. I've never had an issue connecting to my phone, watch or computer. The call quality is practically nonexistent as the person on the other line can never understand me unless I'm in a roommate with no noise or air movement. The only time someone could hear me was when I had a motorcycle helmet on and I was sitting still. After eight months of use, the battery life has dropped to less than half of the advertised three hour charge. Hopefully the market for truly wireless headphones will continue to improve.

Noise cancelation and music sond very good and cmfortable but 7sng it for phone call is teribble lots of backround noise and parasite and other person cant hear good

So i purchased this wireless headphones with the best consideration for Sony in general but i guess this model proved me wrong. So if you think about watching a youtube video or any movie the delay is clearly unacceptable. Almost 1s-800ms making everything unwatchable. Connectivity very poor, i got an interference at my office and the left ear keept dissconecting. Noise cancellation is very good. Maybe for a music only user this headphones maybe are good, but thats not my case. Had to return them.

Bought several different headphones... these are perfect... LOVE the sound, the fit and MOSTLY the charging case!!!

Returned after a few days' usage. When in quality preferred mode, lost connection from time to time, connection preferred mode will solve the problem. Noise cancelling is just ok, not really an active noise cancelling.

Light weight and reasonably good sound quality. Wish the batteries would last a bit longer but definitely like the hard case for storage and for charging.

Due to the specs listed for these headphones, I was counting down the days until they were released. On paper, they have everything you would want in headphones/headset (wireless, noise-cancelling, etc). Want to use these for privately watching video? Playback is not synced so it is impossible. Want to use these for work/phone conversations? Also impossible because the other person can not hear you. Constantly getting claims that I am “muffled.” So these costs $200 plus however much business I have lost for customers not hearing me on calls and voicemails. So they are truly priceless.

I love these things. Considering they are an in-ear device, the noise cancelling is great. The battery life is also way better than I expected. I can get in two or three gym sessions with no issues and the ability to charge in the storage case just makes them that much more convenient. I love my Sony over-the-ear noise cancelling phones but they're not terribly comfortable to workout in, especially on cardio days. These really fill that gap. Six-stars!

I love the look and the sound was great.. But they died very fast and one ear would always disconnect.

We have been a long time supporter of Bose products but after reading the reviews for the Sony WF1000x I decided to get them for my husband. He absolutley loves these and the sound that they have.

These are great headphones they work well with any phone and the sound is great. Only downside is the do tend to cut out frequently.

Has an amazingly clear sound. I found for me the battery life was only about 4 hours of heavy use which I was a little dissapointed in.

I read what appeared to be non-biased reviews before deciding to buy these. Mistake. The “skipping” is frequent and obnoxious. Switching to the other mode solved problem but sound quality totally lacks. And, in this mode, the batter life is short. I buy noise cancelling for air travel purposes and they didn’t last 2 hours. Sadly, I tossed packaging after initial use so no way to return them now. I did update to 2.0 firmware.

I’m not an expert on headphones, but I had the wireless beats for many years and needed a new pair. These headphones are definitely noise cancelling and they work great with my apple music app which is what I need them for. I mainly use them at the gym to workout. The only issue I have with them is that they don’t hold a charge long, but the case charges them 3 times without plugging them in so that helps. Overall they are great so far.

These have a great sound to them. A few times I have had connection issues which was extremely frustrating. But the sound was spot on!

Headphones are amazing quality, noise canceling is great but the right ear bud kept cutting out so I returned them and got AirPods instead

Good set of headphones. Great for the gym. Good noise cancelling. Sometimes cuts out briefly while my phone is in my pocket.

They cut out constantly and you'll be lucky to get more than an hour, maybe 90 minutes of playtime before they abruptly shut off. Too bad because these showed so much promise on the style (non obtrusive), fit (comfortable and secure feeling), and sound (quite good!... when it works)... Maybe Sony will fix the really sloppy bluetooth implementation with firmware (or next gen). And the battery life is simply unacceptable regardless of the "totally wireless" design. File under: disappointed (and yes, I returned them.)

Just great and is as described upon purchase. Two things battery life while mowing full battery-21/2 hours, needs to be a louder

the noise cancellation is great feature these head phones deliver high quality sound and have a charging travel case!
