While we're happy that you like the incredible sound quality, we regret to know you've been running into some issues with the headphones battery life is short, app functions, and insufficient low frequency sound. For available operating time of the unit, the usage hours may be different depending on the settings and conditions of use. Also, when the Equalizer function is used, the playback time will be shorter by about 45% at most.
If you enable the following functions, the operating time will be shorter.
• Equalizer
• DSEE Extreme, DSEE HX, DSEE
• Note: If you activate the Equalizer and DSEE Extreme (or DSEE HX, DSEE) at the same time, the operating time will be shorter than if you enable only one of the functions.
• Speak-to-Chat
• Priority on sound mode while using Bluetooth
• Voice assistant
• Automatic wind noise reduction

Hard to keep in ears. I returned these and bought the BOSE Quiet Comfort Ear buds. They are like night and day.

The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience.
If you feel that the noise cancelling effect is not sufficient, change to the earbud that allows you to hear the least ambient sounds for both the left and right unit and adjust the headset position to fit your ears. To ensure optimal performance with noise cancelling, refer to the guidelines below.
- Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
- The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

I also got an ear infection which I emailed Best Buy about and I’m yet to get one reply .

They are close to rivaling my over ear headphones except for comfort. They are pretty comfortable for in-ears though.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Airpods Gen 1 for roughly 2 years and recently decided to get a new pair of true wireless earbuds, because the battery life of my Airpods is getting significantly shorter. I have high expectations on WF-1000XM3 after seeing so many positive reviews online, especially because it provides the noise cancelling capability that Airpods Gen 2 is lacking of. However, this product keeps disappointing me since day one: 1) the first day I use this paired with my iphone for a remote video conference at a rather quite office space. Other people complained that my voice was stuttering and not clear at all, making the situation really awkward. Finally after multiple re-pairing the voice is recognizable (I use the phone recorder to verify this), but still this implies that this earbuds may fail at some very important moments. The mic quality for calls is at most mediocre 2) the noise cancelling is not effective at all. I personally have owned Sony NC22, NC100d, Bose QC15 and QC20. I'd say the noise cancelling of this product is nowhere near QC20. It is at most on par with NC100d, which is a product roughly 10 years ago and only slightly cancels simple regular noises. Generally when setting noise cancelling to max using the app, it only helped cancel some low-frequency/regular sound, leaving anything beyond that intact. That being said, don't expect this to be of any help in a moderately noisy restaurant, don't expect this to be helpful in a chatty working environment. In these scenarios, I still need to significantly boost up the volume to listen to the music or voice clearly, defeating the purpose of buying an NC product. I have indeed tried different sizes of earbuds and adjusted the way to wear the earbuds but none of them helped. I feel like people who praised NC capability of this product may have never used modern NC earbuds 3) the connection is not stable at all. I have used this paired with ipad at home. During my 2 hours of usage, the connection got lost 3 times and I have to disable and re-enable BT to get it reconnected. This is unbearable: when the earbuds gets accidentally disconnected, the sound one is hearing may just leak out to the speaker, which may be really awkward in some cases. The sound keeps stuttering when I am walking on the street. My 2-year-old Airpods have never had this issue at the same location. 4) doesn't support multi-device connection. Many people have mentioned this. In reality, I can pair the earbuds to both iphone and ipad and use the bluetooth settings to connect the earbuds and "kick-out" the connection to the other device. However the frequent connection issues make it unusable 5) upon a re-pairing process, one of the earbuds simply died out (i.e. its red led doesn't even lit after putting back to the charging case). I have to hard-reset the earbuds to make it working again... This means the product firmware is far from being reliable (I've already updated to the latest version). Pros: 1) supports google assistant 2) initial connection to the phone is very quick 3) the touch button on the earbuds are intuitive to use I really want to love this product, but it failed my expectation miserably. I can't really keep a product that failed in some basic functionalities (stable connection, call quality). Guess I will wait for some more years until some truly good NC wireless earbuds get released.
