He previously was using AirPods but they don’t block out the sound so he had the volume the highest he could have it at, and still could not hear the song perfectly without background noise. As soon as he put these on, he couldn’t hear anything at work which made his day go by so fast. It’s a really good purchase!! We connected it to an iPhone

That was the quietest plane ride. Noise cancellation is incredible. They’re so light weight and fit perfectly. Sound quality is awesome. The only negative I have is the battery life. That’s mostly because I used the noise cancelling the entire time. So obviously that drained the battery faster. You do have the charging case but I had to switch to my regular cable earphones while they charged. Other than that, I would recommend.

We value your input and appreciate the feedback. The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.

The sound quality is good. The noise cancellation is on par with Jabra high end NC headphones. The fit is OK not super comfortable like the Jabras. The battery lasts less than two hours. I am not sure why this was advertised at much higher. The case quality and the build quality is good. Feels premium although the whole case is a tad big.

For available operating time of the unit, the usage hours may be different depending on the settings and conditions of use. Also, when the Equalizer function is used, the playback time will be shorter by about 45% at most. Check the Available operating time in your model's Help Guide for operating times of the headphones on a fully-charged battery.

I had read many good reviews about the Sony's and when they were on sale jumped on them. Musically, better than I was expecting but the isolation of the outside for the long trip was surpurb. True, I love train travel, but at times want very close to slience and these did a great job. Cant recommend enough, especially for the price I paid.

Wasn't thrilled...at all Advertised as best noise cancelling in the field and that's why I originally chose them, however after just a few uses ended up taking them back for a Pro Beats wireless. For most these would probably work just fine, however I love my music loud and with a LOT of bass. I don't feel these cut it, even after adjustments were made.

Whether you land on these or seek the AirPods Pro or Bose Quiet Comfort Wireless Earbuds for added functionality, capability, and/or sound, these are certainly nice for the price, but you'll likely want more. They're heavier than most, not water resistant, not the best in bluetooth range, and their sound stage is not remarkable if you use anything other than the audio content companies Sony has partnered with.
