Sony has outdone itself with these headphones, slim and low profile on the ear, adjustable EQ through the app (sounds great) able to skip songs, answer phone calls and pauses music when you take one out to talk to someone! I use these mainly for the gym but with the noise cancelling they’d be great for traveling in noisy areas for every day commuters like flying, bus or train.

I like talking on the phone and I heard these were great for that. I wasn't really purchasing for sound quality mainly to make calls. First the calls are trash, I dont know what Sony is doing but sadly they really fail in this side of things. The Sound quality is great, good base and the app is awesome. I just personally wouldn't purchase another pair since they didn't do what I really wanted, make good clear calls.

While we're glad you like the great sound quality, deep bass, and intuitive companion app of your new headphones, we regret to hear you're having call quality issues with the unit. If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not properly worn on your ears, you may not obtain proper sound qualities or call performances with the unit.
If any of this is the case, try the following.
Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.

The sound quality is better than my Apple AirPods with noise canceling but the call quality and lightness goes to Apple. These do offer more ear fitment options and again will see how the batter holds up I coming months. First couple of charges the battery lasts maybe 2 hours on 75 percent volume but seemed to last into 4 hour range in preceding recharges . Time is the greatest revealer of the the truth so will see how honest Sony is shortly.

When the Adaptive Sound Control is set to On, the Headphones Connect app detects your action and adjusts the setting of the Noise Canceling or Ambient Sound Control. The notification sound tells you the moment when the setting changes.

Hands down the best Noise Canceling IEM's out

The build quality is great, typical Sony, the Sound is incredible for non custom IEM's and the noise canceling is phenomenal. They aren't cheap but something of this quality sound etc never is, don't hesitate, if you are looking for something other than the mundane Apple Air Pods, look no further, the WF-1000XM3's are worlds above them and most others in this price range.

The noice cancelling capabilities are absolutely unprecedented. I can no longer hear my coworkers speaking to me at the office and I can honestly say that I’ve never enjoyed the work days more. The sound quality of these headphones is wonderful. The accompanying app can be a little annoying at times, but simply turning off the sound control options eliminates the notification chime.

Was concerned that these didn't have AptX, but the sound quality on these are amazing. For flying, the noise canceling on these is incredible, even better than my Momentum 2 set of cans. Highly recommend. Build quality and controls are A+, comes with plenty of earbud options. Downside, with noise canceling on, I get about 3.5-4 hours max out of these, glad it comes with a case that doubles as a charger.

"BEST BACKGROUND NOISE CANCELING" Headphones???

But, I cannot give 5stars sadly because He has DILIGENTLY been working on trying to get the "Background Noise" that is supposed to be "SO AMAZING" with All the reviews I read, and He drices So NEEDED VERY GOOD NACKGROUND CANCELING NOISE HEADPHONES, YET Everytime We talk, there is wind noise, etc... & It just is Very Disappointing... So, If Y'all can Help Us get it fixed to where it is True to what You have Claimed they are, I will Gladly give you guys 5 stars & wld appreciate any help or advice too... Truly!!! The only thing is they don't work that well for phone calls. They pick up all the sounds around you and phone calls aren't clear.

This is another case of they just didn't fit my ears as well as the Air Pods Pro did (tried almost every silicone cover) or cancel the noise as well. I had to take them out after a couple of hours as they felt hard and uncomfortable. I tried them for several days and it didn't get any better. They also didn't cancel the background noise as well as the Air Pod Pros (but I'm an Android girl so was determined to find something in this line). I changed to the Sony WH-1000XM3 over the ear headphones and am much much happier. There will be a review for those posted soon.

I encourage you to do your research also and you will most likely come to the same conclusion. Comes with the quick charge case for the buds to keep continuous play for your ears. Please note that it was recently leaked that Sony will be releasing Aptx codec via software update (which was my only major complaint with these buds) so in a few months it will be the Perfect wireless set you can get.
