When you set the headset in the charging case, the headset turns off automatically. When the remaining battery charge of the charging case is sufficient, the charging of the headset will start. Make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. If you are referring about the operating time of the unit, the usage hours may be different depending on the settings and conditions of use. Also, when the Equalizer function is used, the playback time will be shorter by about 45% at most. You may check the link below for more details.
