Make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. If you are referring about the operating time of the unit, the usage hours may be different depending on the settings and conditions of use. Also, when the Equalizer function is used, the playback time will be shorter by about 45% at most. You may check the link below for more details.

Hi Ricky, Thank you for the feedback on your WF-1000XM3 headphones. There is an update available for this model. Go to our website – Sony support. Once there type in your model – WF-1000XM3. You will find a Firmware update available(2.3.0). This should help with call quality issues with the unit. Thanks for choosing Sony. -Sam

Hello Agelessking, We regret to hear that your wireless headphones kept falling out. Sony provides different sizes of earbuds to obtain the best fit and prevent the headsets from falling off. You may select the earbuds that fit your ears the best and wear the headset correctly. The earbud will be easier to slide deep into your ear if you pull up on the top of the ear lightly while twisting the headset: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wf1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0002392265.html.

We're sorry if our WF-1000XM3 Truly Wireless Headphones did not fit you well causing to fall out with much movement. For fit concern, the WF-1000XM3 features an Ergonomic Tri-hold structure design for a snugly and comfortably fitting. A high-friction rubber surface keeps the noise canceling earbuds snug and secure in your ear so they won’t slip out unexpectedly. This does also come with an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, when wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold.
