Make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. If you are referring about the operating time of the unit, the usage hours may be different depending on the settings and conditions of use. We're sorry if our WF-1000XM3 Truly Wireless Headphones did not fit you well causing to fall out with much movement. For fit concern, the WF-1000XM3 features an Ergonomic Tri-hold structure design for a snugly and comfortably fitting. A high-friction rubber surface keeps the noise canceling earbuds snug and secure in your ear so they won’t slip out unexpectedly. This does also come with an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, when wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold.

The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, when wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience. If the earbuds do not fit your ears, the design may not fit your head and/or ears. For more details, refer to the link below.

She was excited to try them, but was ultimately disappointed. Ultimately it was a matter of fit that she was not satisfied with. Regardless of the ear bud tips she used, the devices never were secured in her ear. We returned these shortly after New Year's, and she selected the Air Pods Pro instead.
